nike's "official" pics are meant to make them look flawless.. which is why i also like seeing "real" pics of them


still waiting on that white/gold pair... hoping nike didnt abandon that cw.. IMO it has been the best colorway on the elites since they started making them..along with the black/gold that they stopped last year :smh:

Exactly how I feel. Nike official pictures are like looking at a magazine where they airbrush 20lbs off a girl. Yea she looks good but you know it's not real.

But there's always that "smh, so dumb, 50 differents posts showing the same shoe after release" person, I don't get why it's such a negative to add some shots of shoes we all are trying to enjoy. What are we supposed to do in here if people can't be excited off their XIs? Argue about how another man should wear his jeans?
 
I feel a little better about the GKs than the BHMs because not only do the Infrared VI come out the day after, the Toro VIs do, too.

I hated elite xs in the first pics, but ended up liking them more than the regular x. Especially once I had them on foot. This yrs elite has a ton of potential. They look higher and give me more of a ix vibe too. think I'm done with the regular xi. Gonna wait for a ill elite colorway
 
This might be a dumb question but Ill ask anyway.

Will the glow of the GK ever dissipate? Like will the glow always be strong? 

Currently I do not own anything that glows in the dark.

Stopped pass King of Prussia and was told FCFS, then went to DE and stopped pass Concord Mall FTL and was told FCFS, then hit Christiana Mall and hit Champs and FTL who both said they were doing FCFS but they were giving out tickets at 6am then you had to wait til 8am to purchase :x which made absolutely no sense :lol:

I'm still deciding whether to try to get the All-Star XI online or not. I want to see what gear they have that goes with it to influence my decision. I'd like to see if there is a hoodie, shorts, t-shirt, and socks that go with those sneaks as I like to create an outfit that way. A gator character t-shirt from Nike would be cool for me. Please post any photos or references of coordinating things for the shoes if there are any.

my solars still have the Bruce Leroy glow like day 1, cloaks seem to be losing intensity tho
 
Elites are nice imo.... Prolly won't like the price... Crazy how the majority was going crazy bout the king crown but just dont like these..
Oh well at the end of the day each his own

I can see them dropping All Star shirts for each of the 3 stars with their individual tarot cards...

Just pure speculation on my part tho

Hopefully nike has perfected the glow. Must be eaiser with posite anyway. 

We will just have to wait and see. 

On the same note tho, do you have to like "recharge" the glow by letting it absorb light?

Videos stating that the shoe comes in a cardboard box and is black in colour are lame - you are right about that.

Unedited, unfiltered pictures are greatly appreciated though - more than half of these joints look terrible outside of a photo booth.

Icy soles will be yellow after a few wears in the summer - they'll match the 'Gold' plastic bits perfectly! :wink:
