Sleeping on a shoe is a retrospective thing. All of us have a category of kicks that we kinda wanted to pick up on RD but didn't. Months later you either look at it like "man I should've copped, I slept" or "glad I slept on those."

People who call people out on sleeping are trying to do 1 of 2 things IMO:

1. They want to be on the next south beach 8 train where once the sneaker gets hot months later they can say "ya'll slept I've been knowing these were going to be fire."

2. It's just a phrase to point out that they think a sneaker is really hot from the jump and they can't believe other people aren't as into it.

I'd like to think it's more of #2, which is a lot less confrontational and shows genuine excitement for a sneaker

But we all know there are some on here that fit #1, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt.

True indeed. At the moment I finally got to see the 11 up close I knew I could easily buy 6 cws like the 9s (4 reg 2 elites) And I do pride myself on being reasonable. Most of time my restraints are well in tack. And impulse buys never creep thru aand if I decided to buy the shoe I have exhausted all pros and cons of purchasing the shoe. It's almost second nature like a qwerty keyboard

I hadn't even thought about from a discount perspective.

Sometimes I just hold out on buying shoes right away to see if I really want them...9x out 10 I don't lol.

A lot of us sneaker enthusiast get caught up chasing the feeling of bringing home a new pick up that we start purchasing every flavor of the month kick on auto pilot.

I personally gotta take a step back sometime to realize that I don't need 35 c/w's in each silhouette

Nike is definitely releasing kicks at a much faster rate than I ever remember, I gotta be responsible for slowing myself down sometimes lol
Totally agree and those 2 highlighted points are the essence of why the "game" is how it is right now.

Nike knows that people would like to think things through. They have killed your decision making process and now cater to your impulsive urges. You cant sleep on nothing cause of the beasting by all of us which = Nike gets paid. You're left to deal with the after market if you sleep too long or bought something that you didn't really like but had to cop or you would've "lost out" (well you can return them)... ultimately we are in control of everything, so I cant blame Nike anymore for that.

Self control is lacking nowadays... but with that said, someone show me the SLH on feet with some good jeans. Convince me people!!!

Agree +Rep for all 3 of you guys.

This is why I'm branching out and trying other shoe brands.  They make great shoes aswell, but without all the hassle and headache that comes with trying to get  Nike shoes.  All the stress does get to you, and affects you in your daily activities.

This right here! i find sometimes its boredom and that feeling of a new tracking number the reason why i buy kicks most the time... but recently i been good at holding out if i dont 100 percent want the kicks lol

My three most recent purchases aside from the LeBron XI were Li-ning, fila, and asics. And all 3 a relatively easy cop

Oh them Hornets dropped today :nerd: ..... congrats to everyone who wanted them and were able to cop :nthat: ...... be back later :rolleyes .....

"sleeping/slept on shoes" might be a bit overused, but I think it's fair to apply it to the Aways. Especially when we've seen some guys say they've done exactly that.

It's just funny to see a guy get scolded with several multi-paragraphed responses for using a term that the NT Police don't like.

I'm just at the point where I'm kinda like "how much am i going to wear them?" and the SLH 9s i have have only been worn like 3 times.
J that's the very reason I didn't cop if you have the 9s it really wasn't a need time clearance rack for these all the way IMO

I'd crap a brick. Lol man o man i was thinking that like yesterday. Also stated earlier in the forum that it would be the next installment of the F&F. Makes perfect sense if we are "friends" of lebron in the game and correct me if I'm wrong retail was 220 and WTT has a lacelock? :smh:
