I think it's more about the bag setup more so than the actual bulk of the shoe. I think nike should have stuck with max zoom. And stuck with the passing in the 9s.

I don't understand why they use a technology in one model only to abandon it with the next.

rawdawg34, JB was doing the same with their sigs too - at the end of th day the 'tech' is just a gimmick. JB XVI -> XIX had the shrouds, XVII-XIX had double stack zoom, XX-XXII had IPS cushioning, etc...

I find these completely hideous and generic.

those are id look at the back of the tongue.
A south beach like the ones in the above picture would be nice tho.  Maybe make the swoosh pink and then voila!  Customizers often get it right while nike sometimes drops the ball, those are a great looking sneaker IMO

James’s physique and powerful play require a shoe that can withstand extreme torque and pressure, while maintaining breathability and a lightweight feel. The LEBRON 11 Elite Team edition is tailored to James’s game and is lightweight, sleek and strong. It represents an evolution of the LEBRON 11 that launched in October, now with a lower cut and new articulated external cage to keep him contained. The Hyperposite protection and dynamic Flywire in the upper combine with Lunarlon and Nike Zoom unit in the midsole to maximize performance.

The Nike Basketball Elite Series Team Collection is available April 11 at Nike.com  and select retail locations globally.

Not goin lie. they don't look that bad in those Nike Pics. But not about to drop the dough on them.

I keep looking at them trying to figure out what's elite about them to generate the price bump other than the standard lace lock that I never use
