If those do in fact incorporate lunarlon to a point whee it won't bottom out easily and they are as light as they say then I am certainly going to get one pair for next season.
 
really curious about the material between what we presume is foam and what we presume is the fuse/mesh. That middle layer...
 
Looks like Nike can't find a balance of casual and performance with the Lebron line anymore. I just don't like how Nike uses all of the same tech/materials for the sig lines. Every players sig shoe looks like it can be the team shoe of another players sig shoe.

Anyone think the futuristic look they have now will be considered "casual" when they retro years from now?

I had a few pairs of 10's including crown jewels and sold them off. The 8's are still the best "new" Lebron (as in miami lebron line direction). Like I did with the 9's and 10's i'll probably pick up a a pair or two of these as a fan and then sit and see how my opinion holds up...

Anyway messed around with it, trying to see the possible color blocking options and nike can do more with this than what they did with the Xs:

When I was examining the pic, you can see the flywire in the vents, the midplate, the vents or logo of some sort near the laces and the laces look like the same from the Xs. Outsole is similar looking to the FP1.

7s, 8s & 10s were similar in design with the 9s stepping away from that look. Now with the 11s, their going with a flightposite - esque design with no visible air or zoom. Not gonna' front....I like the 11s but I'm thinking Team Bron Bron incorporated Foam material on the shoe strictly to raise prices to that $200 entry level.

I'll repeat.....Like the shoe, new price tag is a ***** thou.

The thing I liked about Jordan and Tinker he actually wanted a shoe to perform on the court but look good off the court

thats why we got shoes like the 11

But LeBron goes after straight performance! I thought they got it right with the 7 & 8 then after that it was like :smh:

and the fact he prefers his shoes to be bulky which is ok by all means protect your feet and get a shoe built to cope with your body frame but it frustrates me being 5'8 with a size 9 shoes thats feels heavy and bulky

I wonder if they'll do a SVSM and CTK PE for these, or do them under the soldier line again.
 
Yeah they may look less casual than some of his other sigs, but at the end of the day the right colorways would go a long way in determining how these could be pulled off. It's always about on court performance first and foremost.

Flightposites, Foamposite Max (Duncans), Zoom Rookies, Barkley-Posites etc etc.....

Dudes will have absolutely no problems wearing THESE casually.
 
Clearly inspired by the Flightposite 1. With that said, I don't see any casual appeal with these. Strictly a basketball shoe like the IX imo. The look of these is geared for more rugged use than the regular Foamposite.

Haven't been a fan of the LeBron line since the 8 V1.

Also, the LJ logo sucks. I'd rather see the English Lion logo that resembles a 6 than that generic mockup featured on his product.

Yup, we also have people who wear Jordan's to their wedding. People don't care about a shoe "looking casual"

Had the exact same thoughts when I read those comments. Especially with Posite shoes being as popular as they are today, I have no idea where people are getting this "can't wear these casually" thing from :lol:
 
Not sure how they managed to put both zoom air unit and lunar in that shoe...

Dramatic change from the vis units. 

Liking the colors, but the shoe itself looks too much like a Soldier for me right now.  I'll wait for more pics, more specific spec details and hahahahah ahahahaha the South Beach CW.  LOL  Had to say it...NO I AM NOT SERIOUS!
