it def made sense to sell the 2k as soon as they came in and hold the money for the WTL. the only site we saw doing sub 500 for the WTL is kinda sketchy at best.
the fact that the value of the 2k brons has dropped makes it tougher to do a str8 trade now.

in hand, that print looked terrible.. it honestly looks like a sticker put on their.. on foot you probably cant tell but, it still bothers me..
I mean the same argument can be said.. on foot fakes dont look fake! but there still FAKE! lol

never once did I hear or see them referred to as homes, but I guess if any shoe is considered a home it'd have to be that one. It still is a predominantly black shoe, though.

I'll never understand why people care what others think about a shoe that they like beyond wondering if that pair can be had for cheaper later.

Totally agree with not leaving money on the table however WTL prices right now are around $1k..2k is worth less than what these WTL pairs on the market are going for.
I've only seen 1 preorder for WTL and that was in here and I have a really hard time believing that guy will honor his price once these actually do release.

WTL will NOT stay at 1k.. the only reason they are there now is because no one knows a release date (june 28??) or distribution . if these are as widely distributed as KDs which it looks like they will be.. then prices will drop.. probably below 500.

hooped in the elites, feel better than the normal XI, however i feel the traction wears down faster than the normal XI (i hoop indoors)..but the grip is much much better and cushioning is just as the same as the normal XI.

I wouldn't say speculation.. i would say educated guess.. i mean bouncewear, end, hanon shop are all going to have them.. usually means the usual subjects FNL, FTL, champs, eastbay, etc will have them..
if they make a good amount (similiar to what the KD numbers) of them to help quench most of the demand prices wont be anywhere near 1k.. and it makes sense from a nike perspective to cash in on a 250 dollar show with a ton of hype that will sell out in large numbers..
but i digress.. keeping buy them for 1k right now..

when "prices", which would be the market price and not what one guy about to lose his house charges one person, fall below $500 for in hand, authentic WTL's send every one of those sellers my way.

naw.... pairs will be sniffed up like Columbian coke. this is a simple case of supply being greater than demand by far. KD line hasn't had much super reselling shoes since the 4s. cant even compare the 2.

good luck man. Once a date is set, I'm sure we will start seeing members who we've never seen before or that only pop up in threads for the hyped shoes. It's like how the corks dropped last year and even the champ pack. So many personalities from out of nowhere that don't even fool with brons.
I mean heck, look at the 2k thread when it was bumping. How many members in there were part of that thread but weren't anywhere near this thread?

The upper started to give a little bit. But I also swapped a broken in lunarlon insert from my Aways into them. Because it was broken in my foot sat slightly lower and it relieved almost all the pinching from lateral shank. So, they did get much better from my initial experience.
However, I just realized how heavy and clunky they feel compared to other hoop shoes. Forgot them the other day so I hooped in some 2k4 huaraches that I haven't played in in years. Light, smooth, non-restrictive. Went back to elites the next day and it was like I put bricks on my feet.
So, the elites got much better after a few wears and the pain went away after switching the insert. But when it comes down to it, they're still the most stiff and clunky hoop shoe I've ever played in.
