@kickzforkicks thanks for sharing, but can you explain to me the advantage of removing the timer? The timer disappears, but that doesn't mean the shoe is available any earlier (or at least I wouldn't think). In my mind I can't see how that will make a difference. It seems on release day the shoe still won't be available until 8AM ET

it wont, but you dont have to wait for the add to car button to pop up.. if you can time your add to cart just before the timer goes off you will add to cart.

resale on any lebron other that KC or WTL will be retail price. don't expect a come up

no i mean thats how much it will sell for.. obviously you haven't bought that many lebrons, but every single Lebron 11 that isnt 2k14 has sold for less then retail.. except for FI they sell for retail.
since these are a super GR and kind of disappointing IMO as a south beach colorway i doubt you can sell them for retail later on

yeah thats what i thought. i mean all the lebrons pretty much sit on shelves and dont sell well but i figured since these are south beaches people will hype these up

also, if you have multiple windows open for a while you will notice that the timers are all different.
extrapolate that to the tens or hundreds of thousands of people who are on the same eastbay page and there will be a lot of people who are in before you are.
taking off the timer probably gives you the fastest possible ATC scenario.

Repped for the timer hack. I'm always at the "they are in other shoppers' cart" message when the ATC tab pops up. It doesn't work for Footlocker though right?

Also, everyone has different timers and the product always goes live at 5 am exactly so if someone else's timer still has a minute then you have the advantage.

I wonder if Nike's mindset on making the SB a GR is based off the concept of testing if they can release a typically highly sought after colorway and yeild an acceptable profit instead of releasing a smaller amount. Basically seeing if they are able to make more shoes attainable while still reaching the desired profit amount.
Hopefully, if my this is true, this will mean Nike will stop releasing popular shoes in such small quantities allowing more people to get them. Also puts a few bucks back in their pocket by taking them away from resellers. But then again if resellers are a sizable portion of buyers of their shoes, then with the resale value being lower due to higher quantities of the shoe may have the adverse effect to this trial. That is if my assumption is correct
