Prodigy believes 2Pac was faking the Biggie Smalls beef to Sell Records (13 Minute Mark)

Well, let us know when you get shot 5 times and come out the same dude you were before the shooting.  I don't care if it's my family or my boys, if you're hanging with the dude that set me up, you and I will have problems.  Do I think Big was involved?  No.  Do I think Big might've had prior knowledge?  Possibly.  Do I think Big knew after the shooting?  Yes...
Pac knew who shot him.

Also his boys or whoever killed Stretch(from Live Squad), whom they believed may have set Pac up for the robbery.

I never said Pac didn't know who shot him, in fact I'm implying Pac knew by saying "if you're hanging with the dude that set me up, you and I will have problems."  My point was... never mind.  To be honest, it doesn't even matter, we will have our own opinions and let's just leave it at that...

SUGE came from a good family & went to college to play ball...Dude wasn't no blood & far from a gangster

That underlined is false. Real talk, my dude was/is active.

I don't know where you reside but here in L.A. cats are also banging coming from "good families", i'm just sayin.

I def think it's possible that Pac was putting on a front about the "beef" to sell records and that it was also orchestrated by someone other than himself but I can't roll with the clown part.

Rap is entertainment at the end of the day. I don't see why it's seen so much different than how Lorenz Tate played a gangster in menace to society. Why when an artist raps, it's suppose to be take 100% literal? These guys are entertainers.

99% of "Street" rappers in general can't be trusted anyway. Most of them are the "smart" ones out of their crews who rap about @#$% their boys do/did, but they're not smart enough to avoid getting dragged down with them while trying to maintain that image.

Truth!

Oh...one of those guys. Let me help you out.

Rap is not "entertainment". That is not the definition of "rap" nor is it the definition of music. You clowns that keep saying that **** are really the problem out here.

People define entertainment for themselves. We are all entertained by different things.

Music, and thus, rap music is....

mu·sic
/ˈmyo͞ozik/
Noun

The art or science of combining vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.

Let me re-iterate...."ART" and "EXPRESSION OF EMOTION". Many artists/musicians fall into that category. Some do not.

The fact that it entertains is a byproduct of the art. Much like any comic book, painting, movie, documentary (thus, not always fiction) etc. Let's look at sports. Sports entertain. Is the **** fake? Not really. Except for Pro Wrestling. So, yes, some rappers might as well be Pro Wrestlers.

And the actor/movie thing is corny. Once we start calling every rapper an actor, rap as we know it is dead. Larenz Tate plays a different character in every movie. Know why DMX plays the same dude in every movie? He is no actor.....

Cats with this train of thought don't really love music. It's a disposable form of entertainment TO THEM. You might as well be the "urban" version of a Beiber fan.

I'ma keep saying this **** until people stop treating what was once an important artform like a straight to DVD movie.

 at "99% of street rappers". What mathematician came up with that calculation?

Like I said. At the end of the day rap is entertainment. How many painters paint just to paint a really nice piece to throw in the basement? Not many. Why? Because its a form of entertainment. They paint to showcase their work in essence entertain onlookers. Art shows are entertainment. Same with rappers. How many rappers make a career out of just writing raps to rehearse non stop in their basement alone without ever showcasing their skills? Not many. Why? They like to showcase their talents, be heard, make videos, battle, aka entertain.

Even if you want to be anal n take it back to old school rapping on the corner battling, that's still entertainment. I don't know many cats that battle rap just them two alone. It's usually a crowd.

With rap you can create your own reality and showcase it. They know their raps will be heard amongst others whether its on a corner or on the radio which will entail entertain at least someone (I hope).

You are arguing for the sake of arguing.

I can recall a couple times Pac supposedly got sonned by some NY _s, heard Keith Murray wanted to square up with dude and he aint want no smoke. I remember Nas behind the music saying him and jungle snatched Pac up and checked him bout the diss amd thats where they squashed it.
Not buying it...nothing against your post 7th Mile because you probably didn't start that rumor but Pac rolled deep as did Nas and no way would they just snatch Pac up and dead the beef like it's nothing.

What about the MTV awards situation?

Suge Knight and Snoop both gave conflicting stories on the confrontation.

You cant try to slander someone while their dead b

That's the problem I had with the track Mobb Deep and Nas made It's Mine.

They were in NYC, so Nas had more people with him and they all were holding heat.

Tupac appoarched Nas because he thought Nas was dissing him on "The Message", but those lines were intended for Biggie Smalls (Nas and Biggs were battling for the King of NYC), now knowing Nas wasn't dissing him, Tupac told Nas he recorded tracks dissing him, but was going to change the lines and put different rapper names, but the week later he gets gunned down in Las Vegas.

Wtf is going on? for once I agree with Iamjusayn.

That's ancient history now...but I'm talking about dudes saying Pac got sonned when Snoop and Suge both say otherwise and were actually there.

That behind the scenes episode with Nas when Jungle mentions he had the gat and was about to shoot Pac...

We was in New York before Pac got killed at the MTV Awards and Angie Martinez had got at me in the park because Pac had just confronted Nas. Nas had about 50 ****** with him and Pac had about 30 ****** with him and Pac checked him, punked him in Central Park, I mean straight punked him. He went up to the ***** and told him, "*****, look *****." Nas said, "Hey Pac, I ain’t got no problem with you man, I love your music." So Pac said, "Well look *****, if you ain’t got a problem with me, I got a record comin out where I diss you, Biggie, Jay-Z and whop whop whoop, and ***** if it ain’t no love lost, ***** don’t make no reply record, ***** and I wont come back at you no more." And it went down just like that, I was right there. I wasn’t in the circle I was outside the circle looking right [in], so Pac is standing where you at, and he looking at me while he talking to [Nas], and I’m right behind Nas about four steps away

You will have to go on youtube to look up Suge's version. At work and I can't embed the video now. I will when I get home though.

Yeah I know what you are saying, but Snoop made it seem like Pac punked Nas in the interview, I'm not too sure what Suge said, but I remember him saying they were going to use another rapper name instead of Nas.

Yeah Jungle is that type of person lol, I'm pretty sure if he had shot Pac, he would have got gunned down, by Death Row soliders.....Nas too.

"i was all about my ends f**k friends n foes" man jay got off light. if pac went at jay like he did nas man jay woulda been washed cuz he was not official yet. Nas already had a classic album. "yo nas ya whole dam style is bitten/ you heard (rakim's) my melody/ read about my life in the papers/ all my run-ins wit authorities felonious capers". Pac looked at him like a Rakim clone. Even tho they supposedly parted ways on a good note that didnt mean they was cool. I think the admiration was one sided. I lost a lot of respect for nas when he was dancin around in that R Kelly video with the bandana on his head and that fake a(ss thug life tattoo on his stomach an then when he got on that song with him for that album they put out after he died. man that n**ga didnt even like you

them death row dudes was poodles... Pac's young ninjas woulda got down for him but i think a couple them got killed after he died. But them death row cats knew who baby lane was what hood he was from an didnt do ish...lane got killed behind some drug deal ish not retalliation for Pac

Well before the "East/West", there was rumors on how Pac was a fan of Nas when he first heard Halftime.

And Pac was really the only rapper endorsing the East/West beef. Really, there was no else in the game doing that. And the media was running with it. And I think Pac caught feelings when Nas made a track with Dr.Dre talking about how the East/West was B.S. Dre as well as Snoop weren't seeing eye to eye with Pac and Suge's vision.

Not too many people were ******g with Pac after he started the East/West beef, because they thought it was stupid and bringing too much negative vibe to the game. Plus Nas was friends with Mobb Deep who Pac dissed.

and the "Me and My Girlfriend" song was inspired by "I Gave You Power" by Nas

So he sayin he had nuthin to do with it which i dnt think he did bcuz if he wanted to retalliate it would make sense to get at the cats that actually planned which was henchman/haitian jack

After being a 2pac fan and listening to most of his albums. I have one question.
