Can I return items that I've decided I don't want or need?

With eBay GUARANTEED RETURNS, you can return an item in unused condition if you change your mind. Your refund will be reduced by any restocking fee specified by the seller at time of purchase and by the return shipping cost, unless the Return policy section of the listing specifies that seller pays for return shipping cost. Click here to see more detail.

Even if the seller states no returns in the auction?

No idea, but they can still file a claim through paypal or ebay.

i dont think ive seen NO RETURNS actually work against a claim since the buyer can just lie and make things up.

True. With this new policy eBay is pure garbage now. Only safe way to sell something is meeting up face to face. :smh:

no idea, i could be reading it wrong but go on MY EBAY and should be on the top banner.

but what i said might not be 100% right, i might be understanding it wrong

Might be the end of me selling on Ebay. The place is bad enough with the fees and no giving negs to scamming buyers

Ebay is trying to be a retail store, which its not.

Average sellers dont want to have to deal with the hassle of people returning a item because a. they have buyers remorse or b. found it cheaper. Why would i sell something on ebay's website and not know if ill get to keep the money.

So basically you offer a 30 day, no questions asked, I'll pay for the shipping refund no matter what..... Ok. You can essentially claim "item not as described" regardless of anything because you don't need justification for that, it's more of an opinion. In a nutshell, if you sold something you have to wait a month before the money (what's left of it after all the fees) is actually yours. Nah, I'm good

All of that IMO is not worth the trouble. And consignment shops are just as bad as eBay price wise

Money order is the same as sending cash in an envelope, no benefit there.

The urge to scam people on eBay is so great, but I'm a decent human being and haven't fallen on hard times.....
