Thread rules;

If you want to keep this thread open we must have a mature discussion, no use of profanity no personal attacks on another member. Don't post links to any grey market websites.

This is a quote from Meth that explains where Niketalk stands on this issue.

"Promoting illegal conduct - including copyright violations - is and has always been against NikeTalk rules. We don't allow people to discuss pirating music, movies, or pay per view broadcasts. We don't allow people to discuss how to purchase "high quality" fakes.
We don't want anyone promoting or discussing where to obtain "unauthorized" products that may or may not have illegally originated from Nike-contracted factories."

Remember these products are illegal, we can't tolerate the use of our community to promote criminal activity, if anyone promotes these sites or posts where to obtain these illegal products they will be banned from the thread.

Please follow the rules, if this thread gets out of control at all it will be locked. Thanks

they should be pretty yellow

even if someone took really good care there should be slight signs of yellowing.

if you see a pair thats icey/blue tint then they are fake

most of ebay are fakes

I've seen so many of these icey blue tinted jams on facebook sneaker groups and ebay. It's pretty laughable at this point. :/

We have a local spot getting BLASTED right now b/c they sold Kevin Ware, from the University of Louisville basketball team, a pair of Fake Jams. They are saying it is their "secret method" of keeping them icy....smdh. They would have got away with it if this pic wasn't posted to our local sneaker Facebook group.

Can win a championship but can't get real kicks. Ha

You think he knows anything about shoes?

Anyone that knew ANYTHING about shoes would question the yellowing from a shoe in 2009, but dudes were probably cool and claimed they were legit, happens every single time a pair is sold early.

I am going to assume that he is not a sneakerhead, lol. After he got word that they were fakes, he tried to return them, but they wouldn't accept it. $300, smdh.

If you are in Louisville, KY...DO NOT BUY FROM SOLE FOUNDATIONS

or at least differentiate a real one from fakes...btw he didn't play in the championship game
Oh really now? That big *** cast is no indication of that...
And as far as being a sneaker head he prolly claims to be. Everybody does.

I was thinking about this earlier. It's a shame that all these heartless pricks and scammers out there do this. But I was kinda thinking the way the "game" is today this would be happening. i'm sure theres kids allover getting tricked into paying top resale dollar for shoes that aren't even rare or sold out and are being made daily. it's really sad how LOSERS make their money these days. Like really you are a bum if you make your living taking advantage of kid's desire for a shoe.

it seems like more and more people lack a conscience these days I hope karma is real and they get what's comin

like everyone else said, if you see a pair of Space Jams with a blue tint, stay far away. Theyre more than likely fakes. Mines had a blue tint but its well known that I dyed them.

Space Jams with a blue tint, Ray Allens with the wrong shade of green, and DB 4s without the white piping on the top of the tongue are the most common high grades fakes/unauthorized pairs

i'm gonna dye my DS OG 2000 pair blue, cuz i like how it looks better...

i dare someone to try to call me out...

actually idk cause I want the traction pads to be black. wish they would just do a retro + black/blue space jam or something

Looking for a pair, so basically a icey pair is not real? Because i cant stand the sole being yellow brand new, yes i know this happens with all shoes but i couldnt get a pair on release day, and i would also like the real deal, been doing this for a long time and these 'unauthorized' variants story is still a mystery to me

And this is why this stuff needs to be purchased through a CC, at least so you can try and dispute it.

Thing is, Space Jams have never had a blue tinted sole. Even when they first released, they were just clear, no blue whatsoever.[/quote]

This is what I have been preaching in the PC/LC Forum for the longest. It goes to show how many new "sneakerheads" have popped out of the blue. Spending $300+ on a Frankensteined pair of Space Jams. It's kind of sad knowing they're being taken advantage of though :smh:

Honestly the "fakes" or unauthorized pairs look better overall. Im not even talking about the sole, but the entire cut of the shoe looks better than the 09 Jams. "authentic" 09s had terribly low cut patent leather and didnt look or feel much better than the CDPs that everyone admits are trash.
