The only reason this is open is to:

1.  Help educate consumers so they can protect themselves from purchasing illegal merchandise.  (Even if you don't care about legality, understand that such items can be seized by customs.)
This was also one of my questions. Although I have no interest in buying these, wouldn't buyers be concerned many of these can be seized by customs since they technically aren't a legal product? The only shoes I've ordered from overseas came from CT.
customs probably can't tell the difference.

Ummm... I haven't really been following this thread, but when did NT have SneakeRape as an official sponsor ? Aren't they known to deal in grey market/ fakes ( Ray Allen 13s) anyone ?
Our sales lead has only been dealing with sites that have long been recommended by users via the "legit list" thread.

If it can be established that any sponsor is not selling 100% authentic, LEGAL sneakers then we'll cancel their account immediately.

It's not like Nike doesn't check NikeTalk, either.  Anyone committing a crime would be stupid to attract that type of attention to their business.

I went to a mom and pop store in BK and they had early grapes back in April. The grapes on display was sketchy, plastic lace holes were yellow

They have grey market royals now?

Supposedly they do but I havent seen pics of em yet :nerd:

I am starting to think that smaller mom and pop stores, online retailers and Ebay sellers are already selling these things as authentics. I am sure that they are rampant in New York. It seems that there is no way to be sure other than copping from known legitimate sources at retail. I wear a half size, so I never worried about fakes, but these "grey markets" are available in half sizes so now all bets are off.

This thread is getting a little hot for me, tho. I am gonna' stop posting in here. I will return in a week or two to post comparison pics only. Peace.
Agreed. Even ndc "store locator/authorized retailer" search is not as up to date as it should be.

I tweeted nikestore ab a specific dtlr that had issues with bred 11s that were missing the ball on the jumpman. Couldnt find the exact store on ndc but other dtlr's come up in a search. Nikestore tweeted me back with some generic response of "if they are not listed they are not authorized retailer". Showed them a screenshot of the dtlr website and they tweeted back. Yes. They are an authorized retailer. Still avoiding the original question ab the factory mistakes.

Another mom and pop shop in clt is set up like a sneaker shop and has a legit feel to it but i know its not an authorized dealer bc they hae university red lebron low for 270, toro 4s, suede lebron x ext, etc for sale.

yea lets bother other people to spend their own hard earned money just to help some people out :rolleyes

if Jchambers wants he can dissect his pair since he already took the plunge. No one has to do anything but i dont think dissecting will show us anything but it will shut some people up. id say id do it but im not ballin otherwise i would have done it a long time ago when i told NTers to chip in and do it.

 bitter much

It's not that serious, nightwing already did the one video with the cool greys maybe he would do one with one of the newer 11s. Either way he did a decent job in showing a real cool grey 11 and a "grey market" pair of cool greys.

The Royals aren't available yet. The real test will be when the Corks get released...which happens in a week or so.

you guys also had air randy and SDS on your legit list for years..

just saying, that list means nothing anymore with all this shady business going on. They def sell GM/ER sneakers.

a GOOD number of mom & pop shops aint authorized nike retailers...alot of em share accounts with other stores and break em off a percentage.

doesn't mean they don't carry authentic merchandise...thats been going on for as long as i been born..

sure, they carried authentics before but think about it now

new mom and pop shops popping up, and with the wholesale market with these GM shoes, the mom and pop shops stand to make more money.

your a fool if you dont think some that used to be legit before are changing vendors and selling these.

like i said, if it aint from NDC, FTL, FNL, FA, etc, etc then its SHADY! point blank... PERIOD

first honest and correct thing you have said this entire thread.

Im always honest, and sorry if i had to beat the fact out of ninjahood that we can tell the difference on space jams and space jams alone.

And to think i was actually trying to help u get a pair of black n reds in dec.......

lol whats that have to do with anything, we dont know the real deal with the shoes. no one here knows jack,

that goes for me, you, ninja, and meth. we can talk all we want but what is that gonna do? just add more pages to this thread. There are no hard feelings in this thread  i have nothing against you or anyone else in here. This is just sneaker head talk.

if mom and pop stores gettin more money by selling these more power to them, other then freshly made space jams i can't tell what from what, and i've been

copping kicks for a decade plus, so you know what imma do? not care at all.

it really is nike's problem..da consumer basically getting da same ****

just coming out da other side of da factory, and thats da assessment i'm giving it since i seen da space jams in person.

in for comparisons of GM  J's other than the XI's.

ie Banned 1's , Royals, playoff XIII etc.

(who knew id have to get my receipts laminated)
