As much as I don't agree with grey market shoes, as soon as the Yeezy 1 and 2 appear on Taobao, I'm jumping on it ASAP! Ninja got me anxiously waiting now, lol.

The real question is, what would it do to the value of the Yeezys? It made the XIs go up because it made it harder to find an authentic retail pair, but what about the Yeezys? The reason why they go for so much is because of the quantity and demand for the shoe. With a higher quantity via Taobao, do you think it'll make the value of the Yeezys go up or down?

they will be exact materials outsides and in but on some pairs quality might be a bit iffy

who even said yeezy 2's are coming out?

and how come no one posted the video of the GM corks?

Value would go down, everyone whos dying to get a pair will get them cheaper but still at a rather high price.

Not sure if dudes are expecting to pay $250 but these china sellers aint stupid. Expect a price tag of $500+ if they ever drop.

i made a thread a few days ago but it got locked, a site i check out once in awhile got a FSR and they usually get things last from my knowledge so pretty much every other site is gonna have FSR of royals soon if not within a week :lol:

dont know about any other shoe since really i could careless i just posted that tid bit since i found it out and thought others could use that info since i know a lot out there missed out on them and looking to pay reseller prices so why not help and potentially protect people.

but then again, they can do w/e the hell they want im just being a nice guy.

Just saw some one on ebay selling 5 or 6 pairs  sizes 9-12 of royals who just recently sold a pair of clear icy bottom space jams in their recent feedback. Seems like the GM pairs are starting to appear.

If this was truly grey market unauthorized, why was he able to rip the bottom sole off? Im guessing these were just fakes vs grey market. Again, we could be dealing with semantics here
 
ive been peaking into this thread and its pretty interesting.

that said, this is what I think:

1. these grey market shoes are pretty much the new "early release" shoes that people used to gladly purchase a few years ago.
2. this argument will last forever or until someone shuts the thread down.
a. because people aren't open minded to the reality of what is sitting right in front of them​
b. people cant accept the fact that other's don't share their view point. they want everyone to agree with how they see it. A fake to you might not necessarily mean its a fake to me given the same set of evidence.​
c. morals - some people don't care whether its nike authorized vs those who think nike should be the ones who sells them the shoes. Again, a fake to you might not necessarily mean its a fake to me given the same set of evidence.​
d. ignorance from both perspectives - no many know exactly what's good yet they are arguing the unknown.​

AUTHORIZED RETAILERS! is that better? screw these lil sneaker head sites popping up everyday made by NTers and etc. screw them. everyone is out there to make a buck and of course they will do it in a shady way.

im not paying over retail and im not buying from UN-authorized retailers.

you dont have to follow my plan, its your money. if you wanna get ripped off then go for it brah

Couldnt agree more with what u and ninja are sayin about mom and pop shops and their connection to authorized retailers and to the black market. In the end, i guess this is how those that get caught doig shady things lose their nike/jb account anyhow.

The playoff 13's I've seen on Taobao are scary good. Couldn't ever tell the difference.

I briefly argued with Ninja, not that I disagree that the shoes are made from the same materials, just that I don't want an unauthorized pair. If it's not legal, it's not authentic to me. It's a matter of semantics and morals, and what BigJ said is true....no one will ever agree, regardless of whatever evidence comes out.

Thats because there is no difference. Thats what a lot of you are faling to realize. They are the same shoes.

You aren't going to spot any differences between these shoes because they are being made by the same people who make the "authorized" pairs.

These shoes aren't replicas...

The only shoes that have any difference are the Space Jams because they started using blue tinted soles similar to those on the concords. And that was more than likely because of the batch of newer soles they started using around the concord release.

At the end of the day it comes down to what BigJ said. You're either with it or against it. This isn't fake vs real, this is morals. "Team Nike vs Team I don't give a ****". Thats basically what it comes down to. Either you want your pair legally through Nike's authorization, or you want your pairs through the back door... Pairs that "fell off a truck" as my uncles would say about stuff back in the day.

"fell off a truck" never equated to fake pairs/gray/unauthorized

that ALWAYS meant they were stolen authorized products that they relieved the truck of

not the same in any way
