the dude told you what he was doing and didnt hide it, just like a million other resellers and if he wants to make money selling items that arent 100% as described thats his deal, and as a consumer there is no excuse for ignorance so if you dont educate yourself or buy from a retail environment then you HAVE to know that you are taking that chance. That or you're an idiot

you have to understand that not everyone is a die hard sneakerhead. you have people that see a shoe they like, or liked from when they are younger and buy them from what they think are trusted sellers.

you should also know these same people aren't hip to the online releases or these in-store raffle systems so their only venue could be eBay.

the main point is being honest about the product you are selling. that's it.

don't tell someone you are selling legit, authentic shoes if you know dang on well they are GM shoes.

BigJ don't explain simple things like character, honesty and integrity to these boneheads. If he's a grown person saying these things then he's already failed in life and needs The Lord in his life not a pair of J's. Must have learned capitalism from the Bernie Madoff school of business.

What annoys me is the holier than thou attitude that some people are conveying. If you've ever resold a shoe for more than what you paid for it, technically you're not in any position to criticize what I do. The bottom line is that as a reseller you are knowingly taking advantage of the laws of supply & demand. When you buy a shoe with the intent to resell, regardless of where you bought it from, you're taking advantage of the customers inability to get the shoe themselves. You're charging them more than retail price and dangling a hyped up carrot in front of them that is no longer on the market. Maybe I don't disclose all the facts (and frankly Ebay doesn't set any rules that say you have to) about where I get mine from, but if you've ever resold a shoe and made money off of it, then you're technically no better than I am since as well all know in the end it's all about making money.

whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Well, this thread was cool while it lasted. I can honestly say that the regulars in here educated me a ton on GMs, so respect to them.

Sorry dude your way off on that one.

by no means am i saying what you are doing is ok...because its wrong... but i will say this nt does have sneakerape as a sponsor and they sell gm kicks as authentic.... so is nt as a community saying its ok for sneakerape but not for others?

And here you go boys. Watch it and weep. Same ****.

Clearly, this dude hasn't even watched the video he posted lol. Throughout he video, the reviewer comments on all of the differences that have also been pointed out here between Retail and GM Royals in this thread. Hope you don't sell your fakes to the wrong local cat! Even if they are "slightly less" than average resell.

Gonna get rocked in his face. And rightfully so.

Sneakerape is a sponsor. Without them, there wouldn't be a Niketalk.

i cant knock the hustle but your ethics are different from mine

sure people can call me a reseller i sold yeezys for 10k back when they first dropped because there was stupid hype for them and i had a pair of solars when the west coast only got Plats

but the difference is i don't go around buying a pair of GM yeezys and trying to pass them off as authentic when i could easily do that because i have a receipt for my solars and can beat em up and fool some people on CL/Insta etc

highly doubt that..... but they you go you all have read it here.... build a website.... sponsor niketalk.... and it becomes ok to sell gm kicks as authetic. I personally have no problem with it because i will spend my money however and on whatever i want to. This is just to the people going back and forth on the whole gm issue... people who have to question authenticity should prolly just pass on the shoe

Actually did YOU watch the video? Because the only differences he noted were: the blue being slightly off (and that's a judgement call at best), and the tag on the tongue being slightly different. Tell me where he said that they looked FAKE. Especially considering that he made it known in the video that he would never wear FAKES.

Leave the thread if you that's how you're going to view all GM sneakers.

Some people have different definitions of fake. People getting so heated in here over personal preferences. My only complaint is that if youre gonna sell unauthorized shoes let the consumer know straight up.

This man is selling fake shoes to come up. You should be ashamed of yourself. That's like selling drugs to a pregnant lady.

How you selling fake shoes to come up though? My bad G, you really don't get no money.

This thread has run its corse. It has just turned into a how to buy GM thread, and the same argument just keeps going back and forth over and over again.I think now is a good time to lock this thread a let it become a thread where new members can learn about the GM and decide if they want to support GM shoes or stay away from them. There's no need for anymore posts in this thread.
