I'm saying  The ***** missed the entire point of the album completely being so damn hypercritical. Like I said before, you don't listen to a PARTY LP and then knock it for it's lack of depth or lyrical prowess, etc. Your missing the entire point. IMO these critics are looking too deep into the music man. I can understand you not liking the album, but don't knock it because of it's lack of depth, lyricism, or too much autotune, etc. you're missing the point. Another thing I want to point out is that if you try to classify PARTY as "R&B" then yeah, this may not be for you. I've always held the stance that just because someone uses Melody doesn't make it R&B. R&B = Rhythm AND BLUES...there is nothing "Blues" about party's music. It's the total opposite.

The point of the album was to use some melody to facilitate to the listener what it means to be Young and successful, and how that relates to women and he absolutely did that.

Exactly. He is the exact type of music listener I hate the most. The elitest, EVERYTHING has to be lyrical to be good, if not then it's absolute trash and not worth listening to. I have to be being taught life lessons everytime I listen to music :smh: That's nonsense. There's a time and place for everything Jesus Christ.

Like, you wouldn't criticize Kyle Korver for not being able to playmake, or score off the bounce right? That would be dumb as hell.

Essentially, that's what XXL, and Needledrop, and a few others are doing with PND.

I really don't even know why y'all watch/read "serious" reviews as though it's not just some ___'s opinion. Especially for projects you've already heard and enjoy.

Working for a magazine or having a YouTube channel doesn't make anyone's subjective review any more valid. Just gives some cat more of audience to share his/her opinion with.

Only reviews I watch are Big Quint's, because son gets so hyped at the most appropriate times that I'm damn near doing the electric slide the next time I listen to the same project

If I were an artist I'd hire him to listen to my **** before I sent it to the label to know if it knocks or not.

They literally looked like they had a kickback at Drake's crib, had recognize playing in the background, and decided to film it
