I don't know man. Just listen to records like Break Up, Up Down, and Drinkin' Patna...that's vintage T Pain. Those records suggest his music hasn't fallen off at all.

Hell, half of the music people love today, from Future, to PND, to Young Thug, all this is just T Pain man. T Pain left the culture for some years, and now that's he trying to comeback, fans have moved on. So even when he does put out those vintage t pain records, people aren't going to acknowledge it. They've moved on. It's why I always once you get into the culture, you can't leave, because this culture stops for no one. It'll always be somebody new.

But..this isn't a T Pain thread :lol: :lol: my bad for that tangent...Pain still #1 doe :smokin

I assume you mean commercially? I wouldn't be so sure. T-Pain probably one of the most commercially successfully artist of the last ten years but with Drake behind Party and the current demand for his type of sound similar success is certainly possible.

If you're talking musically then idk what the **** you're talking about, and I think T-Pain is/was a good artist.
 
Tape has been on repeat for the last few weeks after I really wasn't feeling it initially.

It really grew on me.

I love PND, and Drake behind him or not he will not come close to the commercial success T-Pain has achieved. He does not have 'it'. The Weeknd is more popular than PND and he probably wont ever scratch T-Pain's commercial success. Musically I agree with you I love PND.
 
Bro, you realize PND been around for a little over a year right???

The Weeknds success and/or popularity doesn't have anything to do with PND.

That's why we've pretty much adjusted the metrics we use to evaluate an artist's commercial success.

I don't think anybody thinks PND is gonna go platinum.

Realest N'a In The City is fire. Party needs more songs like that. You can hear him clearly and it sounds great. Definitely one for the whip.
 
Realest ___s in the City isn't really moving me. It's cool though, and new Party is always appreciated.
 
Been playinh PND2 consistantly for a lil while, sound is so nice. I didn't know he prod his own **** either til I looked.
