Yea, I'm always more a fan of production when it comes to music but the writing and structure on this could be better and much better in some spots.

Definitely don't think this project moves him forward in his career as far as popularity/hits goes but I will personally be rinsing this **** for a while.
 
This sums up my thoughts on Party and why he's my favorite artist right now.
PND has mastered the art of setting a vibe. He took the moody, atmospheric sound popularized by Drake and 40 and stripped away any melodramatic sentimentality, leaving behind an aesthetic still custom-fitted for late night listening, but less centered around whining about exes in favor of strange faces and hedonistic impulses. In other words, his music is perfect for alcohol-fueled hookups taking place in the backseat of an Uber.

PND’s Wikipedia page  has him listed first as a producer and then singer, an order many might reverse when describing him as an artist, and wrongly so. When it comes to the “mood music” that PND crafts, the stuff you’re pressing play on for the sole point of vibing out, production is the crux on which all other aspects lean.

That's what I feel as well, I don't think there's any other artist right now that captures atmosphere/space/vibe as well as he does right now.

Even the **** he's doing with his vocals on this new tape I haven't heard before.
 
Not gonna lie, I wasnt as impressed with the album on a first listen as i expected to be. Normally, with other artists i wouldn't listen to the project, but artists that I'm a fan of I spin a couple times and see if the record can grow on me. As of right now, Don't Run is the stand out track to me, when the base kicks in :wow:.
 
Party is a pure creative, who's mastered the art of crafting celestial sounds and ya are bringing up Tory Lanez who doesn't have an original bone in his body?

Tory is talented I'll give him that. But his quality has been decreasing.

Creativity & experimenting > everything else

Was worried but this album turned out really, really good. Need a few more spins to absorb everything but off the first listen, I like it a lot.

Based off of 3 full spins now, I'm a little disappointed. Nowhere near the supreme quality of PND1 and 2

Doesn't mean it's bad, but it feels a little bland to me.
