Early early early favorites. I'm sure I'll enjoy other tracks the more I listen.

P2 was meh to me after the first few listens. Grew on me a TON over the next few months, still play it weekly, no skips. Absolutely love that joint now.

This is gonna have to grow on me the same way.

The melodies are a step back, not really feeling the beats either. He's not really floating over the production like he usually does, which goes back to my first point. The melodies are just off.

Tape feels like he's regressed.
 
Off first listen, i remember being more hyped with PND 2.


P3 doesnt have that effect on me after 1 spin. Some of these tracks are terrible.


Dont Know How, Transparency, and i actually like Only U are standing out right now

After the first couple of runs through, I fear I'm finding P3 a bit boring.

I'm usually pretty good about taking my time digesting projects and not succumbing to hasty initial impressions but some of yall have reminded me how P2 took particularly long to grow on me, hopefully this follows suit.

Yeah I don't get why folks can't help but to bring up other artists. Tory lanez is an artist I actually enjoy but it's a completely different genre

Pnd is alone in his lane much like I believe the weeknd has or had his own lane
 
So I ran through this 3x today and the only song I genuinely do not like is "1942." Replace that with "Don't Do It For You No More" and I can play it front to back.

P1 and P2 hit instantly

P3 is growing on me the more i play it throughout the day . tracks i skipped I'm now letting breath . still keep getting stuck on 1942 tho

nothing on this is as obnoxious and off key as FWU, I'm kind of disappointed. But 1942 is a dope track. Need to give this a few more spins though.

But as stated PND1 & 2 hit instantly.. I remember first listens I was mind blown..

Standouts on P1 and P2 hit instantly.

The written history is still right here, certainly took time for most people time to appreciate the full tapes in all their sonic mastery.

Problem with P3 is there aren't any initial standouts.

Transparency, 1942, Nobody, maybe a few more are dope. But there's nothing in the vein of SLS or Thirsty that grabs you.
 
Just got done off of my first spin. I like it but I thought it was just ok.

1st half > 2nd half. My mind started wandering towards the middle.

Gotta give it the whip test though. Would love to hear this @ night while driving.
