I did not say that all the complaints were coming from PS fans.

I said that we have PS fans in here complaining. I don't see that happening in the PS4 thread.

The point is that there are people here who have no desire to own an XBox One. Their only purpose in this thread is to draw lopsided comparisons to the PS4 and to complain about the policies and practices of "M$" in an attempt to paint the company in a negative light.

You implied that the only people in this thread that complaining are ps fans. "we're lucky to have the(meaning all) ps fans...etc" 

That's a broad generalization especially if you think that I'm one of those people.

I WAS going to buy an xbox one before e3. After e3, I was like damn m$ done ....ed up.

I still WILL buy an xbox one. At the end of the day, xb1 has exclusives that I want to play.

Quit trying to say that the well deserved critisicm that m$ gets is unwarranted hate, bashing, etc. 

As I'm about to state once again, I own a 360.

So quit acting like I hate m$.

m$ does things that I like and that I don't like.

The fact remains that you're in here complaining about a product that you don't want from a company that you don't appear to like.

Most of the things I've been talking about have to do with m$ as a company and their business decisions. 

Such as including a kinect with the xb1 and restrictions from free apps, etc. 

I have no reason to criticize a product that hasn't been released.

Nobody's swearing up and down. I said that the ps4's user experience seems better than the xb1's based on the fact that MOST of the console isn't locked away from me. 

Whereas I can't so anything cool without paying for xbl.

It's the principle.

Neither has m$ so what is your point?

thats what im saying.

Im no fanboy and i personally dont really care what system anyone buys but Sony hasnt shown us anything yet. People are so caught up in what Microsoft is doing and bashing them for everything they do but no one bats an eyelash at how Sony hasnt let out any new info about their system.

I really dont see how anyone is impressed by the PS4. Besides better graphics it doesnt feel like a next-gen console. Sony doesnt do anything innovative, their too busy playing catch-up and copying the competition.

For the short run more people will buy a PS4(mainly because of the cheaper price though) but in the long run the Xbox One will provide a better experience.

This is just pure conjecture.

m$'s been backtracking and clarifying things because...they had to.

That's not presenting new info about your console, that's just saving face.

Sony doesn't do anything innovative...wut?

If they didn't, we are they still in the console game?

I would make a list of innovative things sony has done, but that's a waste of time.

I will buy an xb1...eventually.

I will buy a ps4...eventually.

I stopped gaming for 3 years because I was fed up with the current gen practices.

Rehashed "new" games, dlc, online passes, etc.

After the most recent dbz thread popped up in general, I started to replay my ps2 games.

Then eventually, I started to replay my 360 games. Then I bought a new 360.

One of the biggest mistakes I made this console gen was to not pay attention to what was on the other side(sony).

For those 3 years, all those great ps3 games came out. Which I would have played, but at that time I had my m$ shaders on.

Now I'm more interested in what each side is doing because I don't want to miss out on something cool.

That pick a console side mentality is stupid.

If sony does something that I don't like, I'll be talking about it in the ps4 thread.

If m$ does some....well you already know.

On paper, theres no quantifiable reason to buy an xbox one over the playstation 4... on paper. But brand loyalty will save xbox's **** this time around. I have a 360 now. I cant stand the ps3 except for a few games (uncharted, last of us. final fantasies) i hate the ps3's controller, i hate its ugly shape, i hate having to install every new game u play. i hate its menus. On the flipside, with this next go around, xbox said a big "F YOU" to all gamers. Their policies were terrible along with the new ideas they implemented, and instead of listening to the outrage from gamers, they were arrogant in their mistake. Even taunting us with that "if u want to play offline, get an xbox 360" comment. I cant support a company thats so disrespectful towards me, and ONLY takes its head out of its **** once the competing company comes and drops a bowel movement on it at E3. If it wasn't for Sony's presentation at E3 and the resulting POSITIVE feedback for it, do you guys realize xbox wouldnt have changed anything?

That alone made me align with playstation. The fact that theyve now altered the controller (looks like they copied the xbox controller's shape a bit) will have that streaming service so i can go back and replay games ive missed from playstation along the way, its the stronger system, will have an unforeseen improved user/online experience... im just ready for the ps4. the only complaint i have about the ps4 is...wtf were they thinking with that rhombus shape?

May i remind eveyone that these are just video game boxes?

Microsoft isn't going to go to your house and take a dump on your front door if you ever decide to sell your Xbox. They are not going to reposses your car if you decide to cancel your Gold subscription.

Pre-E3: "I want games. Its all about games games games. Xbone isn't for gamers"

E3: *Xbox presents games after games after games* " PS4 is still only for gamers because we can buy used games!"

Xbox Launch day exclusives (so far): Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Ryse.
PS4 launch day exclusives (so far): Killzone, Driveclub and.........Knack.

All of the sudden it's not about the games anymore. If you read the last couple pages in this thread, the dilemma is now.....having Netflix and IE only on Gold :lol:

I really hope Sony steps it up with the launch exclusives at Gamescom, because that launch line up is sad. I wouldn't pay $10 if Knack was in the Xbox Live Arcade marketplace, let alone $60 as a launch day exclusive and from the videos i've seen, Driveclub is the poor mans Forza. Killzone is straight though, i'd buy that.

As I said before, talking about exclusives is a waste of time.

It's all about preference when it comes to which console's exclusives are "better" than another console's exclusives.

We'll be talking about the games...when they actually come out.

So there's no need to be surprised at the not-about-games talk.

Given the info that come out about both consoles, it's very clear that the ps4 is more centered around gaming than the xb1.

Gaikai, doesn't lock out gaming centered aspects of the console from you, such as free-to-play games, game recording, etc. Which supposedly the xb1 will.

I mean the OS was designed with ads in mind. Not to mention, the gimmick that is kinect.

I'm sure that kinect can be great...on it's own.

Most people dont really mess with launch titles, though at this point xbone has ps4 beat, even though ryse looks wack they hve a legit fun game in deadrising 3

Dead rising 3 looks like butt. Once they said they're giving it a Call of Duty vibe, they killed it.

You do realize that they only showed 1 location in dead rising. The game has an entire city that is pretty big. And also the game is pretty wacky of you watched some of the comic con stuff

It's a bit of a stretch to say Sony hasn't shown us anything substantial about the OS. Wasn't the main discussion last week about how much each console continiously records gameplay and in the quality they do it?
We heard a lot about the OS in the February reveal and the following months.

- They haven't said anything because Gamescon is in 9 days. They're not the ones backtracking so they don't need to be throwing out 180's every week. Gamescom and TGS will be where they'll make the big announcements.

- Can you also elaborate on how Sony's not innovating and only copying and how he PS4 does not feel like a nextgen console but the XBOne does?. You say they only have the edge in graphics and try to brush it off but better specs doesn't just mean better graphics, it means better game performance and more flexibility for developers allowing for software innovation. That along with with the better graphics is a good reason for people choosing the PS4. It's not just the specs of the hardware that's better but other functionalities too. Upgradeable hard drives, Longer recording time with better quality, backwards compatibility with older fight sticks, wheels and headsets, IGC, etc.

- As far as people buying the PS4 for the cheaper price, PS3 came out a year later with a bigger price difference than PS4/XBOne and with a barebones PSN , yet it still caught up to the 360.



When both consoles come out we can compare the user experiences. we'll be able to dissect the UI and OS properly and compare features and operation. Too much off the UI shown in the conferences are faked so come november, we'll see how everything plays out

It doesn't matter how big the place is.

If there's not much to do, the game will get old.

I like dead rising gameplay, but the gameplay isn't "good."

Dead Rising is a game where I listen to music, kill zombies, and skip anything that tells me to do something.

Also, your "well deserved criticism" is often things that are just fabricated. Remember when you said that MS themselves sent you an ad within a game message?

That's really funny considering that this whole back and forth started because I said the One would be the better console and you had some snarky remark for me.

I haven't even seen the PS4 thread, does iYen troll that thread also giving people 100 reasons HE thinks people shouldn't buy the console of their choice.
