I only wish I had found these posts 3 weeks ago... I'm sure I'm too late now, but anyone know of Thermals floating around in a Size 11 (at $150 or less)? I see a few pairs on the bay for $180 - 190, but I'd like to get em for cheaper if possible...

I think one of the great things about FOAMposites is that you can wipe them down when they get dirty. Having them in suede kinda defeats the purpose.

**** fool...new things my butt. Why change a classic? Foamposites are what they are because of it's history and manufacturing process. Buy the suede ones... hope you get rained on hard or brush them into oblivion. Me? I'll be rocking my OGs forever, jyst like my 1998 foams, like my 2007 Foams, my 2010 and 2011's...whatever I like to wear cuz all my foams last. Suedes will look like crap a year after you sport them.

Yeah, I feel Nike sort of tarnished a classic. Not only putting out terrible Foam's with graphics on them, but also because they look like shiny cheap looking plastic. They definitely aren't made the same anymore.

I just think the suede thing would be acceptable if it was a limited release like the Dr. Dooms, Paranormans or whatever... but really a suede Foam? Nike has been trippin lately and this is the icing on the cake. Just glad I have 17 pair to choose from already, I wont be copping a pair till the Volts come out I guess. I wear my foams...unlike the idiots who will buy the suedes and have to always check the forecast before going outside. NIKE... YOU ARE EFFIN UP BRUH.

Thanks for the heads up. If I can get them for under $150, I think I'll pull the trigger. I just need to move something before I spend more money on kicks this month; my wallet is in pain right now from just the last couple weeks of pickups...

no ones arguing with that BUT..nikes a business..trying to make money create a new buzz like always..they will do whatever it takes to put something new out and get money..add to the fan base thats how it is. took em 2 years to get the columbia 11s out this year after people demanding them..maybe you will get ur ogs someday not now tho..they are already knee deep in the foams with all this crap they did in the last year...im not feelin the red suede foams but i am digging the black suede definitley...and idc if it rains man it could rain any day of the week..if i ws worried about it raining id be wearing beaters everyday..could die any second, could be a tornado could go on with the weather dude ..i don't really care man its just a shoe..they come and go..its a cool idea for black..im sure something will come out that will interest the older foam heads soon because they are definitley due

seriously tho.. where do you guys keep getting the idea that because theres a suede skin, there wont be foam? the mold of the shoe is still foam! it could have sheep skin over top, its still foam.

No one is saying there won't be foam, just that suede takes the functionality of the foamposite (durability, easy to clean, good to beat up) and makes it obsolete. Which is odd considering the foams origins. I don't mind, it's not as if Nike is going to cut off production of regular foams or anything, I just would rather see them do better colorways rather than experiment with diff material coats and etc.
I just really want doom foams tho, that's the only reason I stay subbed to this thread, I got hopes one day I'll see a pair in someone's sig for the low.
