thats because people are nike's slaves.. they could have done this release in ankorage, alaska and people would have flewn in to camp in the snow and negative temperatures..
they could make a foam protector and make the sharpie parts removeable so that us normal people who wouldnt DARE sharpie our royals could ahve the fresh look. i actually like the white undersfoam look even though I have all of the other royals.. only my 2011's are wearable and on ice though.You have to possess one of the most one track minds I've ever come across
But I like that too. Especially because, like I said, I hope they make the sharpied ridges removable. That sole and the probably stamped Penny logo on the heel would work as methods of differentiating them from real Royals in the same way that the stitching on the Lance Mountains (amongst a few other things) differentiate them from real Black/Reds and Royals.

I received mine in less than 24hrs after registering for it. Folks that copped think it's the best thing ever. Folks, such as myself, that are chromeless think it sucks and it's absolutely useless.
I was able to cop using the app, all other methods failed today.
A good bit of people failed with the app. Still gotta get lucky with it, same as NDC. It's just you have a better chance on the app than you would on NDC.
I agree with you. When i used the app today at first it told me all pairs were reserved, then it kept searching and finally carted after about 2 minutes of waiting .
I ate this weekend man, it was cold as a ***** but im home cozy sipping tea and my kicks. People do this every weekend, those are the nutcases.
