couldn't post this morning was at work, but copped the all star foams today via the nike snkrs app. was honestly very surprised, there's a feature on the app where if it can't add to cart it will keep attempting until it does, and it caught it a few minutes after 10am.

i used this feature too but i got OOS

i was obviously not as swift as you lol

honestly tho the most refreshing part about the app was that it didn't crash
 
Managed to cop the mirrors from the SNKRS station on bowery. It was a super duper easy cop. I went there not even thinking about copping those because I thought it was impossible. I went truly just for the red foams. A ton of peeps in there were copping them easy. The only problem people were having with the mirrors is the 1 pair limit. Easy to cop.....but not if somebody in your group already copped. FYI they dont care if its 2 separate peeps....if you came in with somebody, 1 of you wont be able to cop the mirrors.

If you really want em, i would say take your *** down to the SNKRS station and try your luck.

Been looking on ebay to see the what prices folks selling theirs and I see around $800, but i'm really surprised on how many pairs are being sold for that price. That's rent in a nice 1 bedroom or 3 bedroom depending on what part of town. I just can't seem to pay that much for shoes.

NYC is the greatest city in this country. Especially when it comes to sneakers and basketball. I think this argument has already been done in this thread, but you need to go sit in a car with the windows down and the ac on and cool all the way the eff out.

Not gonna front, I've had my fair share of foams, defiantly a dope/clean/inovatitive design (plus they don't crease) but once u hit your late 20's and your white lol, you gotta turn it down, atleast for me. I don't dress very flashy. But from a collectors perspective these mirrors were a must cop, also people forget for young dudes there is really no better short term investment if u know what your doing. I can't believe isome people that don't buy sneakers think it's a waste of money when they have no idea that with some time and commonsense, you always make some money and most the time you can wear them, keep them super clean and ebay them for atleast retail, so either way you don't lose out just seems like I never hear that get brought up. Congras to everyone who coped, NIKE went ALLOUT

haha i just clicked on it as soon as it changed from "notify me" to $275. got a size 10.5, that could be why too usually shoes are more abundant in the 9-11 size range.

Does it matter? I didn't even know there were different types of scams...

I assume its something along the lines of you send money for shoes and you don't get them. Or you get fakes. Or like homegirl in the memes, you buy Bordeaux Jordans butt get Bordeaux pepperidge farms cookies (which are great, but not $250 great)

I can also explain, using facts, why NYC is the greatest city in the country. But not here.

Maaaan it ain't brand new. New Yorkers stay bumping that their city is the greatest of all time. It's all opinion.

I would NEVER live in New York just off the gun laws you guys have. There are no facts supporting that any place is the "greatest"

I'm not really a New Yorker though. It's been 25 years since I've lived in NYC. But again, fact based arguements, including public transportation system, financial health, fashion, cuisine, etc can be made to support my argument.

I have heard the same about San diego. Something about it being south of the San Andreas...and Ron burgundy, obviously.
