Once those chromeposites dropped this thread became super active. It was dead before the chromeposite release. I can't wait for the Chrome Gold. I know it will be the foamposite version of these, but more shine.

Does anyone know or think that the Foamposite Mirror/Crome-Foamposites will ever be Re-Stocked? Thoughts please.

Coming from a guy who wants them badly, and missed out on them in NYC, NO! They were a All-Star Game limited release for New York City ASG. Just like the "Galaxy" foams were an Orlando ASG release. If the chromes do re-stock they will be very very limited at best. Re-sellers are cooking with their $700+ price tags. So I guess sneaker collectors like us missed out on these must haves.

Honest opinion need because either I'm undervaluing the Kobes in this trade or over valuing the Foamposites. Is this trade even?

Galaxy foams were NOT an original Orlando release. They dropped at various locations and even had an alternate release of "reallocated" pairs after the release.

They were originally slated to be a national release, but after the riot in Orlando. Nike and sneaker stores put a hault on them selling nationwide and made them limited releases. Hence why the re-sell is/was so high. I remember it very vividly and watching the madness on CNN that year. And then later the HoH stores who still had the "Galaxy" foams did sporadic re-stocks on random days to not have the madness at their stores.

You know only part of the story. Plenty of places sold the galaxies outside of Orlando. Two stores in MD had them after the release also. A lot of mom and pop shops had them too.
Jimmyjazz.com had pairs on the site too but they were blitzed.

^Chromes and Galaxies are only good for trade bait or resell.
Whoever is getting the Kobes is winning in my eyes, those two VIs are classics while the Galaxies and Chromes are just trade bait to get better stuff you missed out on. (hype value will probably lean in favor of the Foams though)

Yep. Active Athlete here in Houston had them but they are basically resellers with commercial space.

Besides the Adidas Crazy 8's. I would never trade Foams or Jordans for any Kobe's, but that's just me. I was a kid in the 90's and I'm strictly into 90's retro kicks. Would never pay money for a Kobe or Lebron sneaker.

It was even worse.
I asked what the price was and dude said " it depends. You tell us the size, we call around, then tell you the price."

That's cool and all but you've missed on some of the most aesthetically pleasing and comfortable shoes that Nike has ever produced. And this is also coming from someone who has been buyin Nikes since 91 and is big into retros.

posted in the wrong thread before. I'm TTS 8.5 but I was looking to get a size 8 in foams because I like the snug fit. Since its my first pair of foams I'm not really sure. Homey in the other thread suggested I go with my TTS. Stick with TTS or half size down? Thanks in advance.
