Well, according to the ol' inflation calculator $180 in '97 is equal to $270 today, so Foams are $20-40 cheaper today (or $13-26 in '97 dollars).
 
Adidas, Fila and Reebok been putting out mad retros that are the same price today as they were in 93-00. Don't want to hear any inflation.

Just got my university red pro delivered from the eastbay phone order. Glad I passed up on that in store footlocker pair with the glue mark/scuff on the shoe etc. I did the NT inspector gadget inspection on these eastbay ones and right off the bat once I saw that stiff folded wrapping paper I knew it was untouched and of course didn't see any flaws at all. Was a little hesitant shedding out the money for these but I couldn't pass up on a black/red combo color!

They dropped em 3 years in a row in that era.
 
I guess the Olympic foams will b limited since they hv the"PRM"LABEL? Smh!!! Def need those!!! So clean!!!
