If the Penny V or Rookies did not have a Cent logo no one would of bought them. Hard to sell a bright orange shoe without a name associated with it. I"m only commenting on the icey soles part.. Ice soles stand out.. its easier to catch when shoes are ds or not when its icey PLUS you can just protect them...

Yea but the Penny logo makes em that much nicer haha. Agree with Nike ID being the end of the Foam. It would be cool if Nike did it for like 6 hours haha.

 Here's mines.. Its sad.. but then again this is before I was sole protecting.. I really see myself trying to restore the ice on these because they dont look right compared to when I first got em..
 
Just dye the soles black

Sauce/retr0brite isn't a permanent fix. Since they have been yellowed/oxidized before, its only a matter of time before it comes back again and next time it'll be faster. Ive experienced this first hand

In comparison to what they looked like that very morning i copped mines... Look at the ice!!!... They were bliding  people back then!! White and Ice!!

I honestly don't think sole protectors would save these haha. Just cheap *** quality Nike used. Even look at em wrong they turn yellow. Legend Blue 11's will do the same thing (just like Columbias, impossible to find a pair without yellowed patent leather). White outs would be great if they stayed ICY. My Shooting Stars have no problem.

but if you ice them and you protect them on all icey angels they still look good.. i protect my pewters and eggplants and royals and they look like the press photos.. my gym greens the same

i agree.. look at my post above  of when i first got my whiteouts and if they could just stay like that.. they would be the shiiiiiiiiiznit

lol i just noticed.. this page is nothing but the bottom of the shoe.. like a Hows-Your-Ice-Holding-Up-Today thread or something..lol
 
Well I plan on restoring my white outs.. I need to find a good person who could just paint the upper and foam that bright white so that thats restored.. ill work on the bottom sole..lol
 
Exactly why I just can't **** with all white shoes because they'll eventually just yellow. Cars are pretty much the only thing I prefer white over black..
 
White foams were a terrible shoe. They just look like *** even when new. They should have had a solid white or gum sole. I will never put a dental dam on my shoes :smh:
