This is the only thing that bothers me about the Gold's...No mesh and a printed on logo...

because the sole below the protection is still intant.. all of the traction and ice..picture examaple below
If you wore them, even with sole protector how do you figure back to deadstock? lol

All jokes aside.. I've only slipped once this year and it was specifically because i had sole protectors.. theres another brand that makes something simliar but the side that touches earth has more traction.. nevertheless still keeps the ice icy
on the 1's they felt better because the traction pods on that shoe stick out ... same for the xvi's.. for me im casually walking im not doing anything mission critical so i havent had any issues with them.. maybe its the way i walk.
