i think the only time people copped foams in masses on the first day was when the eggplants dropped..That had people talking.. still.. nothing like an air jordan11 release (even back to Pre Concord status).. I do remember the Black/Red 11's in 2001 though.. 7am.. in the mall.. FTL gone. FTA Gone Athletes Foot.. Gone.. Champs.. Got Em.. 125.00 + Tax and back into my moms car at 7:20.. no lines no wars no drama no police no mall security.. and i was back in bed at 8am..lol

Naw people went ham for the coppers for sure also.

Also, it's was straight craziness when the house of hoops pearl foams dropped in ny.

Correct. FTL didn't get every release and def not in the numbers it gets now.

Where do you live? They are available in just about every sneaker store I've been in. I just don't understand why the Copper Flightposities have not sold out completely. Those are some really nice looking shoes. It must be the price tag that some greedy exec at Nike thought it would be "smart" to post foams and flights in the $220-$230's price range. That was just sooooo STUPID! Now kicks are just sitting on shelves and having to go on sale.

I wonder if Nike re-releases some of their solid colors like the Red Metallic or Black Stealth foams will they sit on shelves like the latest foams have been?

Flightposites not selling out because nike butchered them.
 
Im in brooklyn. And I like the 2014 flights I wear the black carbon joints for work, comfy shoe. I think there is just too much heat dropping EVERY week for people to keep up. You still had the infrared 6s, the columbia 11s, the red pod 13s, the DB collection, and various other collab sneakers in the works for people to spend their money on. Which is cool because I can't afford to buy every thing Nike or jordan drops EVERY WEEK. Im glad these sat so I can cop when I can AFFORD them. I hope more kicks sit.

lol he doesnt know about that extra midsole portion.. i think they did that to stop people from doing sole swaps.. they bastardizes us with that one :frown:

lets not forget the best foams of all time.. the black clear sole pros and the black volt check pros.. clear sole.. those need to be remade...lol im sure those taobao guys are making tons of those as we speak..lol
 
I struggle to find opportunities to rock my Lebron X Volt... I don't know if adding these would be an intelligent decision.

I use mine and my volt shirt for traveling long distances, can't say you can't see me pumping gas, but I def don't need another volt shoe

One of my favorite shoes that I have never been able to track down are the solid volt Nike Air Max+ and these run along the same lines as those. Would rather have the AM but they will suffice.

Upper would still be volt but not the whole shoe. Don't nobody want them highlighter foams. :lol:

The black carbon fiber would be the shank plate not the upper.

Quick question for those who still wear older retros and OG's  , i'm aware of  sole separation   but does the material used on the midsole can crumble over time  ?  , i ask because i stopped buying recent release because of quality issue , i only have two pairs of 2007 royals  and i like to cop more made in taiwan stuff over the future  .

The only thing that should be volt is either the swoosh or the actual foamposite material, other than that leave it all black.
