yep.. i feel that.. and since i didnt hear nothing from my friend in CN.. the china foams are off my list even though i want them i dont want to pay resell.. saving is good.
 
man i just happened to luck up on them royal foam pros when they came out. i was home from college and went to DTLR across the Street from forrestville mall. i wished i wouldve never thrown them in the trash :smh: :smh:

I threw a pair of 01 black red xis in the trash because they weren't super fresh since I hooped indoors in them 3-5 times :lol:

The 300 won't matter if the hype is there but it isn't. Dudes don't hesitate dropping that when they are thirsty.

300 is my limit on some retail... if foams reach 300+ i got enough pairs.. ill leave them alone and move to 2k4's..lol

they were.. i remember uptempoair and amazingkicks on ebay.. OG jordan 9's were 300 bucks.. and you rarely seen any expesnve kicks except some OG nike terminators or OG jordan1's and 2's

Haven't kept up with foams. Are these only releasing in NYC? Or just limited?

Also, Obsidians are nice. Thank god the year of the trash graphic foams is over. Ready to get back to what's real and the Obsidians are good way to kick it off. Gonna pass in lieu of the gold colorway though. Make them my first foams.

A month or 2 ago in the facebook Foamposites Only group, someone posted a This or That: royal ones or royal pros.

That is a NO brainer for me : the ONES that started it all. But I was shocked, Pros won the votes by a landslide, probably 75% of the comments were for pros.

I agree. People will drop a grand on a shoe if there's hype. Ex., Nyc1s were going for almost a stack when they were thought to be limited, now cats saying they wont spend more than 225 since they're not. .

I don't make statements that are NYC specific so I don't get why you would even try to bring that out like I'm speaking for your city alone.

I could care less who you think follows sneakers. I'm talking about the expanded picture.

I do agree that the buying is slowing down. But it could also be that Nike/JB is putting out so much product on a weekly basis. Theres the matter of flooding the market and more competition.Add to that, other sneaker brands are selling a bit more as well (see asics, NB, saucony, UA) . But clearly Nike/JB has the lions share of footwear sales.

Flooding the market.... Less hype... Not as cool anymore.... Band wagoners start jumping ship.

Band wagoners realizing this sneaker hobby is too expensive. Starts jumping ship or becoming more selective in purchases.

Either or, things def are slowing down vs what we have seen since the concord XI release.
 
Someone in my local FB group talkin bout a midnight release that happened last night in NYC. Said they were able to cop and pisted this pic...
