Do you all think the Foams have more buzz than the Yeezy's? I like the Foams more than the Yeezy's, but to me the buzz for the Yeezy's are much bigger. What do you all think?

I'm going for Kanye.. at least those who want the shoe will "eventually" get them.

Went to the Nike SNKRS place at 330 for my 4pm-5pm time slot, like they suggested. Didn't start letting people in until a lil after 5. And to top it off they stopped selling the Gold Foams with the group that had the time slot ahead of me. Started selling KD Florals and 3 other BS shoes in my eyes. Hey at least I got my SNKRS app access code. I'm on the waiting list for tomorrow so hopefully I get lucky. Really wanted those golds though. And the admitted resellers on that line was ridiculous. 97% of the people showing up were resellers.

Minus the reselllers this is the reason I left.

Nike thinks and does not want you to walk out empty handed. This pop up shop is more like dealing with someone pushing drugs they figure we dont have this and tell you at the last minute we have that.

nike figures your so fiend out for this little spot you will take what ever is served

I asked the people running the event if my placement in line would I have a chance to get my size these jerks cant give you a straight answer.

Thats the reason I got out the line.
I knew what ever was being sold after the foam count down clock was crap

Dont know if I want to go through the same crap at the jordan store.

^ I got a confirmation email last night for the Jordan pre sale at Flatbush, was super psyched and get there and tell me I'm not on the list. Try to show them I had a confirmation email and they wouldn't even entertain it. I have a 9-10 time slot, guess I will just have to get my app code. Very disappointing day.
 
Nike already won by makin people mad cause they decided to wait in line for hours on end for shoes :lol:
 
So i'm going to the SNKR event tomorrow...Kinda excited. I also got into the Q&A with KD tomorrow at 2:30, but from what other people are saying, I probably won't make it on time since the SNKR thing is apparently always behind schedule

Are those gold foams gonna have a wide release later?

Also, has NTNY still not said how they're handling the mirror foam release?

Wish I read this thread before heading out to the pop up after work, waste of time after a long work day. Was hoping to cop some golds, and after a 40 min wait, none were left. :smh:
 
True NYC and B-More were up on Foams before a lot of folks. But DC and PG County were ALREADY on Foams heavy. Even before they became "cool" in NYC and B-More. I'm talking late 90's early 2000's. You couldn't go anywhere in PG or DC without seeing dudes wit a pair of Foam or Flight Posites and a fresh Shooters or We-R-One sweatsuit.

Arrived at 930 for my 10pm slot at snkrs, waited in line until around 1:15pm for the gold foams. I figured there would be no way they could sell out my size during the first couple hours. (Maybe 100ish people ahead of me) Welp, I was wrong. They sold out of 13's almost instantly apparently and then 14's were gone. By the time I got there, 12 was the biggest size. Put up a stink and they gave me an extra code for my boy. But thats about it. The Pavillon is cool if you are in shape and haven't been standing in the cold for 6 hours today for jordan/sneaker/nike crap. Good luck getting those pins boys. Also the yeezi's dropped while I was inside and had horrible reception. Skipped the end to run outside. Long day. Time for a drink.

Why? The whole giant smartphone on the wall running the new app and vending machine accessories broke in the first few minutes. They started 1.5 hours late because they had to see if they could fix it or go to plan B. Plan B was put into effect and we had to checkout on their laptops instead of having the pairs delivered via the vending machines build into the walls. It sucked. And so did the fact they allocated 60 people per time slot. Even picking up RSVP pairs takes more than 1 minute. Let alone all the stuff we were supposed to do once insdie the shop...look at pictures, shoes, clothes, new app, new code, get stuff from the associates, and then checkout....seemed insane to book that many people per hour.
 
You basically froze your *** off for 3 hours, got an access code, and were then given the right to purchase some gold foams if that.  Just wasn't worth the time/effort.  

Wonder what they'll put out tomorrow.  They kept running photos of the Frags on the video walls, trolololol
