Good thing I am not interested in the Gtown 11's so I can focus solely on the foams. I just hope they don't drop a foam in May the same day the Bred lows drop. If they do I am going to have to mobilize the team.

Just curious, are the golds sold out in everybody's areas? There's like a size or two at a City Gear near me still but I think the main chains are sold out, haven't really checked tho.

The laces on the mirror foams suck!! Anybody else have something like this happen? I got one little fray on a lace.... after wearing them like 8 times...... and then all of a sudden the entire thing came apart. What's going on is that the laces have this mesh cover which is black... the actual lace underneath is a blue. That cover is real delicate and one little problem causes the whole thing to come loose. I just saw these exact laces on another pair of Nike's at the mall... so I know they use them for more than just the mirror foams. I emailed Nike support and they basically told me to go scratch. Can't provide replacement laces... can't sell them.... just zero help. It's basically unacceptable that they're selling $275 sneakers and deliberately won't get themselves involved with replacement laces for them. It would be one thing if there were just a few colors of standard laces and we could all order them if needed... but we're talking about unique laces that only Nike produces. Just not real happy at the moment.

Hahaha those mirror foams are just a mess, prone to issues.
On a more positive note, I just swooped up a pair of some clean Anthracites with og box sz 10.

I liked (past tense) before seeing how fragile they are. Chrome finishing rubbing off, smoosh and nike lettering on the back coming off, and now the laces falling apart. It may be a blessing in disguise I didnt get these.

Agreed there! I'm getting a replacement black set of laces with silver tips on them.... so at the end of the day it won't be noticeable... but I just don't care for the fact that Nike does absolutely nothing for it's customers regarding laces. Foams or no foams.... they just won't lift a finger to help no matter how much you spend on their product.I'd rather have roasted laces than scratched up and peeling chrome

Of course now I'm gonna be paranoid about peeling chrome when I wear them!! But other than the laces.... I haven't had any issues. I do hope it stays that way. I guess I better keep my gold's as a backup in case the mirror's ever really crap out. I don't fully understand why Nike can't get a shiny surface on a foam correct at this point.I don't love the laces anyways

was it just the one cat a couple weeks ago who posted up pics of the flaking paint? or have yah seen other people with the same problem? the laces unraveling looks like also.

They can but they just went cheap. It really sucks too because they are beautiful.

My whole gripe about driving with heat on is first you get nasty creases and for exposed after market pedals them was destined to be destroyed. Many prayers and good vibes sent those ppl way. Almost make you wanna cash in eh?
