Not at all. I actually mentioned the material was then when asked before this stuff started popping up. If that day comes, then nike and I will have a defect conversation.

@$275 they shouldn't be doing that so easy. But at the same time I kind of expected it. It's like when Nike/JB make a shoe with new material it usually sucks then they improve the more they release them....so if anyone wanna sell some chrome foams lol I got an idea

it's to bad they didn't use the same material for the chome's that they used on the KC ext, haven't heard of anybody's peeling, creasing meh, but no peelingOf course now I'm gonna be paranoid about peeling chrome when I wear them!! But other than the laces.... I haven't had any issues. I do hope it stays that way. I guess I better keep my gold's as a backup in case the mirror's ever really crap out. I don't fully understand why Nike can't get a shiny surface on a foam correct at this point.I don't love the laces anyways
That said, glad ur pair is holding up otherwise.

Hey guys been a minute since Ive posted in this thread. I've been eyeing a pair of mirror foams for a while now but the price doesn't seem to be going down anytime soon. What do you guys think? Should I pull the trigger before they increase even more?

the problems is they know how to do chrome already, they did it to perfection on this
why they didn't use the same material on this

Honestly, I don't know a ton of people that actually rocked the KC like that. I know then material isn't that thick on those either. The KC also isn't entirely chrome metallic material so it's more margin for user error.

DAMN.. THAT LACE SITUATION IS UNACCEPTABLE LOL.. NIKE VIOLATED WITH THAT ESPECIALLY IF ITS A PRONE FLAW THAT WILL OCCUR WHEN DUDES UNDS THEM 5 YEARS FROM NOW. MAKES ME GLAD THAT IM ON A NO SNEAKER BUY STRIKE… AND THEY WOULDNT EVEN REPLACE THE LACES. The KC seem so fragile too mainly because of the suede
After seeing what happened to the chromes idk if I should buy another pair of KC so I can wear them more or just sell my pair off to save the frustration of what could be

make that 2 and I rock the heck out of my KCs prob should pull back I got a small scuff on em now but the difference is it seems the metallic material used is more of a plastic on the KCs and like a spray paint layer on the foams

he shrinkwrapped it. then he cut out a hole at the part where his feet goes into the shoe. so he walks around with a shoe completely covered in shrinkwrap.
