Forget the trade...how about the guy who's facilitating the swap is taking the shoes apart. Grabbing on them, and based on him talking I wouldn't trust him with anything

That too. Towards the end I thought he was going to "unwrap" for a second. Lastly I'm disturbed by the look of the shoes. If you are a sneaker connoisseur your shoes shouldn't be that dirty. They look smelly and it's the worse feeling just cleaning them and paid xxx amount.

Used shoes are tough. How people care for them and there hygiene differs. Personally I won't buy a used shoe.
The little kid talking on the video makes whatever site/swap he's part of suspect. Plus if you're running a swap site, posting winners and losers will make people leave your site

Some used shoes are good. Full court back to back to back. Then a good moon walk for good measures is a no no. Personally I'm already walking past if you didn't take the time to make them presentable. Like how you pay 500 for a used shoe?

I buy used shoes all the time as long as the insole isn't trash.
Thats what you get fungus from. Always gotta make sure thats clean. No buying shoes, especially used ones, for over retail.

Don't mind buying used foams just cause on foot any flaws are barely visible and most of the time easy to fix.

Yeah, it looks bad and is unprofessional. What if the guy starts second guessing it, because of so many people saying what a bad trade it is and changes his mind or wants his shoes back? I think sometimes people forget that beyond box value, it's about your value in a sneaker. The only issue I see is how worn those were, with the Kyrie's being the only ones I would consider in good quality.
He's clowning dudes, and I'm sure he's getting compensated from it. From the trade and money from youtube.
I hate that dudes videos anyway, he doesn't know anything he's talking about.

IMO I don't believe the "Mirrors" aren't that valuable. They're cool, but just don't do it for me. I'd rather have the 5 shoes I could wear everyday than one I could wear a few times then have them peel on me.

I buy used all the time. Well, nothing too worn, maybe worn 2-5 times. If I can get a shoe for $100-$300 less just because its been worn a few times thats great. And I feel it's easier to wear them because i don't have to worry about when i want to unDS. If you have the money to buy all DS then thats great but as a teenager with no source of income other than sneakers used kicks are the way to go.

Agree 100% and repped. From my experience I notice more guys who buy worn kicks are 23 and younger. I'm 27 and would only buy or wear DS. What if the seller of used kicks has wide feet that mess up the way the show fits your foot? Or what if they have athletes foot or a foot infection or fungus?

There is no age limit or age range for buying used shoes.
You can also tell a lot about the condition of the shoes as long as the photos are petty detailed.

You guys are discussing buying shoes DS or used which just released? How about kicks that are 5+ years old that are hard to find in any condition or old to the point were being used is better (99 ivs)

If they are not DS I don't buy them period, just something I am not willing to do. BUT thats only if I intend to wear them, if I just want them in my collection then I will by VNDS and I will use that as trade bait or I will sale them later on down the line.
And again I would like to stress there is no right or wrong here, just personal preference.

I hate buying unworn shoes because then I'm alot less likely to wear them

Gooze I'm the same way, a used shoe is much easier for me to wear. I'd hate to wear a brand new shoe from 5-15 years ago.
