My favorite moment was when J snapped on him for bringing up his success with buying certain shoes at retail :lol: ...but yeah he's an integral part of this thread, it wouldn't be the Foam thread if he wasn't here.

:stoneface: I'd be more happy to get galaxy foams than yeezys as far as me being a collector is concerned. The quality of the red Octobers is hot garbage. What other shoe do you know uses the ashy red suede on the toe box to determine that they are real? Bootleg pairs had to be downgraded in order to keep up.

...and I'd take a beat pair of Yeezys over 2 brand new pairs of Galaxys, then again I hate that colorway :lol:

:smh: to each his own tho. I've never been enamored with yeezys. I always thought they were cool but weren't worth the price of admission.
I'm a foam head at heart tho so that makes a big difference.
 
I love Foams but I also love both Yeezys. There are plenty of foams that look better than the Y1s and 2s (Royals, Metallic Reds, Anthracites, etc.) But not the Galaxys, at least not in my opinion from a standpoint of shoes that would be worth me keeping and putting on my feet. Galaxys = straight to ebay, Yeezys = straight to feet despite being able to get that used Honda Accord money for em.

To each his own bruh.... I've owned a pair of Y1 and a pair of Y2.... They are nice shoes but not worth what they sell for. I can understand the thirst for them tho if you've never owned a pair. It's like that nostalgia factor is real. I mean it's real to the point that you say you would rock beater yeezys just to have them. I personally don't rock beater anything.
 
I don't think they're worth the resell either, thats why I will never own any of them :lol: very few shoes are worth resell to me, they were all made in the 90s/early 2000s and none are Jordans.

...its crazy how after a while I come around to wanting really ugly colorways, first it was the XMas Lebron XIIs now I want the pink elephant foams :smh: I feel ashamed of myself.
 
Hmm.. if i had a choice to get RO Yeezy's.. Id take Galaxies/Sole Collector/Pananormans... Those three would make me pretty much happy. I do like yeezy's but the price

Lets also not foget DB and Oregon Foams as well.

Ill never own any yeezy's unless I win the lotto.

Kanye West could have EASILY made his own Shoe Brand like Ewing Athletics and become a billionaire owner but for some reason he rather been a millionaire EMPLOYEE.

he could put on a pair of jordan future lows and they would instantly sell..lol
 
Billionare? Absolutely not. He got sheep but not like that. It's not likes making chump change from his deal but its in his best interest to partner with a well known brand.

Idk yall if kanye woulda started his own company I think he would do pretty good. All his celeb friends gon wear it also so I think he would do decent

he could easily surpass Ewing Athletics.. He would have the ownership of Ewing but with the sell-out rate of Air Jordans. Thats actually alot right there..Plus he could restock and people wouldnt have to pay Macbook Pro prices for a shoe.

Decent yes, but I dont see the longevity and yeah hes a popular name but he piggy backs off of everything and all his shoes look alike while building up from something the company has. Air Yeezys were built on old Nike models and 750s use Adidas Boost. His LV stuff was made like luxury sneakers nothing special but the LV name and his name together. I really don't see him standing on his own very long if he were to make something his own from the ground up, he knows alot more about this than we do so there's a reason he made the decisions that he did... but we're getting off track here, lets talk about that Ice.

my beater collection is serious.. but i dont rock them.. 

I've only seen Y1's once in person and that was from a guy who was working at "Shoe City..(Is my city and my city is Shoe City)". He admired my Jordan XVI's and i said.. nah man you got heat. Y2's.. ive only seen fakes in person no legit pairs. And I agree... the price on the market is out-of-this-world (or if I'm raven simone.. out of this continent)
 
Has anyone done any sole swapping lately... I really would like to see a Sole swap on the concord foams with a  Clear sole or better yet someone paint the under foam white so the sole sticks out.. It would make the concord foam look much better.

My main problem with that shoe is the carbon weave, that black and white ruins the shoe... its the reason I got rid of both Supreme foams though I do regret letting the reds go. Black pair was weak.

i like the supremes.. just dont think they are worth the market price. the red ones are fresher though and will turn heads.
