Nike is really gonna release a "sharpie" Foam. Wow man. Just give us the damn Royals again and the people who pretend to give a damn about that meaningless game Penny wore those in can draw on them. What a waste of a classic CW.
 
man theres soo many curse words i cannot say on here without getting the post delated of many reasons to pass this pack..

Nike why not just do a couple foam pack.. theres better shoes to use

1/2 Cent.. Same colors.. instant cop

any air penny 1,2 and 3... instant cop

Foamposite pro.. same color.. Jordan 11 riot cop..lol

There's no advantage to giving out 2 shoes they know people want. It's better for them to stick you with a new model.

but isnt that the whole idea of selling something.. give people what they want? at lteast the GOF xx9's look decent.. i actually rocked those

If that's the case then Nike wouldn't make limited shoes. That GOF pack was MAKING people buy those XX9s, Brazil pake MADE people buy that CP trash. Yeah they could give you 2 shoes that would sell on their own but whats the point? It makes more sense to push another model on you that you probably wouldn't buy on your own and hope that you like it enough to try something else. They know it's gonna sell anyway so they might as well stick you with some crap.
 
Not really feeling the Foams. Nike running out of ideas. Pretty excited for the Penny 6 though. So will buy the pack.
 
I want the sharpies but I can't do the 500 dollar pack. I will just wait it out to get the Sharpies by themselves
 
Im in, the more i look at them penny's the more i like em...the sharpies, like i posted earlier, are flames, im going in for this pack..i dont mind the $500 price tag..its for 2 pairs of dope *** kicks imo. Even if i wanted the sharpies seperately, id be paying close to that anyways resell value so i might as well go for it.

Last years pack I Wanted shooting star foams and had no interest in lil penny, I'm actually really digging the 6 this pack and not really feeling the foam, I know the idea is somewhat OG inspired with the story and all so to speak, but colored lines don't belong on foams, just as some prints don't.

I think most of you do not understand, why this shoes has vertical black stripes.

The foamposite as it released back in 97 for retail, was the same shoe that the Arizona Wildcats wore, that is why it is referred to as the Mike Bibby/ Wildcats shoe. In that same year they won the final four.

Penny on the other hand did not wear that exact same version, since it was banned by the NBA. He wore the version with the vertical black stripes. There is a picture of the actual shoe that he wore in the 97 playoffs in the Orlando Magic store at Amway center. I have never been there, but I guess they have a memorabilia section there.

The upcoming release is basically an homage to this and even more is close to the actual shoe that Penny wore back then. It is like the Air Jordan shoe that was banned and still released, not sure which one that was, might have been the AJ1.

I do not know the specific reason, why Penny wore this shoe during the All-Star game in New York, I just know that in 97 he played one game at MSG with these foams, so it might be his appreciation or something similar.

So to sum it up, this is some history finally releasing. If you are only hunting for royal foams and are not somebody who is interested in the history, then I recommend you not buying this pack. This is for the true Penny fans and collectors!

I dont hate the pack. Ill more than likely try to grab a pack, try to at least. I want to sell my Lil Penny SS, at least I'll probably wear the Penny 6. It doesn't look bad

It was PENNY'S shoe. Even the ones that Bibby wore had a cent logo. Never knew Mike Bibby's personal logo is a 1 cent sign. Foamposite Bibby/Wildcats hahaha. Bibby may of wore them first, but clearly if they have Penny's logo on them they are his. Anyone who referred to them as Wildcats Foams is obviously confused. So Penny had to put sharpie lines to avoid fines (no clue why Nike didn't just pay them) both are technically his shoe.
