Actually, the first half cent is the only CW worth anything it will at least fetch around retail, give or take a few bucks. And, the first Penny V is an OG CW, also one of the only pairs of that shoe that anybody gives a damn about. Nike does actually try to come strong out of the gate, and the first CW is usually one of the most sough-after GRs. If the Penny Posite develops a legacy, this will absolutely be one of the most desired pairs.

Nike should sell them for whatever people will pay. This is the whole purpose behind this pack - trying to find out how high they can jack the price of Foam 1s.

But, you're right in that you can absolutely wipe your behind with a BA in Marketing and Management; it ain't worth the paper its printed on.

You might be right about that.. right about now. I was blessed enough to get a great paying job back when it was worth something. But on another note.. to anyone else who is reading, there's nothing wrong with furthering your education, beyond a HS Diploma or GED. A Bachelor's is definitely worth more than that. I will let you know when I complete my Master's. Wish me luck !
 
I was just thinking this pack would have been amazing with a second foamposite one or pro instead of the lil penny, not saying the lil pennys are terrible cause they are actually pretty nice but a re release of the royals or maybe a royal foam 1 with white stars to match would have been well worth the 500.

Nike did a exceptional job with the shooting star foams, it's a unbelievably clean color way IMO and by far the best foam to release in the past year, this is coming from someone who has the lady gaga paranormans

anybody know how the lil pennys fit. i heard theyre a lil snug. so im tryna figure do i go up half a size
 
the pack would have been sick with another foamposite i agree. the lil penny is not on the same level as the foam. when i found out i had to buy the penny posite just to get the foams....i was pissed lol. i would never wear that lil penny anywhere unless i played ball in them. now that i have them in hand its a WELL MADE shoe with nice details...you probably wont even see details like that on another penny posits because its a limited edition. it is def cool..3m laces and 3, stars everywhere..but the shoe still sucks..its black, has 3m, icy bottom....everything you want in a shoe but it sucks
 
Got my pack tonight from NDC... I'm actually surprise on how the Lil Penny Posite look. They definitely look better in person and starting to grow on me. I was going to unload it but decided to keep my pack as a whole. Overall I'm happy with my pack geting 15% with additional 6% from ebates makes it a lot more tolerable.

Got my first pack yesterday, my second one is still on the way,

box = amazing
Foam One = amazing
Penny Posite = nice looking

I can understand, why people do not like the Penny Posites that much, they just look bulky, especially in the heel area, the more they move to the front the slimmer they get!

I will try get a third pair of the foams to ball in! Definetly!
 
I havent worn my SS Foams yet. I need to protect the ice first... once green/yellow/dirty-ice proofed... then i can slide out in the always icey shooting stars.

So sticking a piece of plastic on under the shoe is going to protect the ice.

They'll still yellow, you'll just have a clean yellow sole and if your lucky only a broken arm from having no traction.

:smile: I've done my Royals,Eggplants,Pewters,Fighter Jets,Safaris and a few more with it.. My traction actually isn't that much different. I've worn them in the rain,snow and many places.. I haven't slipped or fell in them at all. Maybe my installation technique works well. My bred XVI's on ice actually feel no different because the traction sticks out on that shoe. I also protected my Whiteouts and looking at my other DS whites that i never touched my Shielded whites actually look the same no oxidation as it covers all of the foam.. Also on any good pairs you can spray UV clear coat and it will drastically slow down the Oxidation big time.

One of my friends did his Suns and a year later.. Still looking good.. Super icey.. the Shield is slightly greenish a bit but its not like when you have them without the shielding and it looks yucky..lol

Never heard of spraying UV clear coat on the soles.
