I hope to be buying my first pair of Foams tomorrow. The Thermal Maps.
I'm going to have to see how I feel about them in person/on foot before I decide to acetone off the graphics.

Tried the acetone on my fighter jets.... didnt really work. Acetone removed the dark grey to reveal silver underneath but the black and white stayed the same no matter how much I rubbed.

That sucks big time. I thought silver was the under layer but I didn't think the other colors were permanent.

Wait, so it's pretty much still camo, just with silver instead of dark gray?

Pairs dried up before the acetone thing because they were sent to outlets.
Pairs were reported THIS weekend for $100 plus tax and shipping at an outlet in NJ.
They aren't selling for retail via eBay either.

The middle is where the silver use to be dark grey. I kept going over the white and black nothing happened. So I just stopped before I completely ruined them.

Your doing it wrong. You can't rub the paint off. You have to peal it off.
Just rub hard enough to get to the white base. After that just rub to bring the paint up some and peel.

They should make a foam that changes when water hits it. Then when dries it goes back to normal. I think the foams with be the perfect shoe for that
