I really wanna cop some older foams. How has the market been for them? I wonder if prices aren't as bad on some foams because of all the bad ones coming out now

Don't know about DS pairs..but lately I've seen some pretty decent prices for VNDS pairs of older foams ~ $200 or less

Thanks for the info the thing I like about foams is the durability so I don't mind buying a used pair depending on how the rest of the shoe looks

I just copped some older but still in great condition pearls and stealths for about 180 each. And I can get a pair of pewters at the same price. Don't settle for those 300+ prices

pretty much.... the foam hype train has died significantly. a lot of colors are at a 3-4 year low since people aren't trying to scoop up every color under the sun anymore.

I remember when the copper was going $500-600, now i can't even get 300 for my pair lol. All these prints ruined the foam line. Benefits the buyer looking for good pairs, but if this trash keeps dropping I'm out too

The hype for foams has died down BIGTIME! And I'm loving every minute of it! Been snagging VNDS pairs for less than $190 all day for doubles. Please keep releasing printed foams. Kill it even more hahah
But seriously, go back to solid colorways. There's still solid colors I want

Yes. Idk if it slows down yellowing or not, but my thinking, it can't hurt. So I trashed all the paper in mine.
I also unfold all my cardboard boxes and put my foams in containers that I buy (just because they'll stack higher and I don't have to unstick to get one out of the bottom)

Yep.. kill the hype then NikeID them.. Make an all black with gum rubber sole or an all black with Clear White sole or an all black with the glow in the dark sole.

NikeID Servers would litterally crash.. The forums would be jumping again.. Resellers would be P'Off. Customizers would be angry.. Regular foam heads would finally be happy..

why not.. It would be one of the higher demanded shoes to Actually "ID" and buy..Now i can finally be able to make glow in the dark foams with a clear white sole..lol
All Blue Foams.. Red October Foams.. Platinum Yeezy Foams.. People would go broke with that business.. Also.. people could do more sole swaps with their OG's...

NikeID Servers would litterally crash.. - if nike can handle the holiday 11 release then they should be able to handle a nike id release. while there would be a nice volume on day 1, people wouldn't feel the NEED to log on ASAP since the shoes are "LIMITED"

Regular foam heads would finally be happy.. - depends. a lot of people don't like change and feel like putting foams on ID would just kill the shoe due to a flood of many colors.

I think they would be.. I wouldnt have a need for Galaxies Oregons or Dbs or Sole Collectors.. I can kinda almost make the pair on ID for teh SC's.. im sure the color would be different but I'm good with that.. I want foams to be general.. not this crown jewel of a shoe or worse yet "a Yeezy".

bigj, I agree with what you said except this line... resellers are not making any money off the BS unique colorways (aka the printed crap). resellers may be eating off of older solid colors. so depending on Nike ID limitations, I think those prices would dive.
I know personally I don't mess with printed foams.. and the solid colors I do want, i'd prob forget about em and just ID a pair I like just as much, even if different, and get a brand new pair
edit - actually I guess you're right on some of the printed limited drops like oregons and supremes (which are wack)

All of these sigs are regulars on id. There are still colors of each that do well for resellers mainly the WHAT THE line or colors that are extremely limited like the spark Kobe 8 or the flynit low 9s that released overseas at one location.
Also, the champ elite 10 still sells for over $1k even tho people could make a similar color via ID. The big difference was that the champ version has the watermark or light print on the toe box.

So people would make that money spend just for a watermark? Id be better with a legit color i can make and customize.. you know.. add a clear sole or something..lol
I do like the What the Lebrons.. but its soo much hype on them its insane.. They want to "Yeezy-fy" them..
