just to let know those one that still think to buy the chromposite...

don't do it....

my shoes keep peeled off without i even wearing them....

and the chrom mirror isn't a paint.... it's a very thin film that glued on the surface and ripped off very quickly

u can see it easly on those photos i just made...

nike did a really ****y job with that shoes , i lost 800$ becuase of that ,then  be aware guys ....

Repped and thank you for the heads up. I will happily just be content with my "pewters'. No love lost the chromes look nice, but if they are peeling like that then I'm so glad I didn't cop them.

anyone of you know any paint for shoes with chrome finish ? i don't ....

and i wear them once , when the shoes was ok.... and after that , when they didn't hit anything

i see this spot

after a while it came bigger ( after i put them away and didn't wear them again

this was the continuation

and day after , then i still didn't wear them , i see the first photos i upload for you

on the other side of the shoes...

@benhouli that really sucks.
You can probably send them back to nike for a voucher.
$275 returned is better than nothing.
this is the issue

i can't

i bought it for 800$ from flightclub and i shipped it overseas , i live in israel

then the money is lost ...

and the shoes of course

that's why i need to warn all of you

I'm sorry for what happened. Really sucks.
I'll be wearing mine this spring so I'll be able to update if something else happens. Could be that your pair was seriously flawed also. No one else has mentioned their pairs falling apart like that.

Well, look online for a chrome paint to touch up the knicks, then figure out a protectant or a good painter.

Too bad you had to pay that much and cant return, but just wear them instead of being out of $800

Yea I would still cop for retail but I am def not taking the chance on a resell pair...not at these prices

i think no one was really wear them yet

a lot of people still waiting or trying to resell them

but i am sure that it will happend to everyone that have that shoes , i wish for you that i be mistaken...but i don't think i will

my recommended  to everyone

try to sell them while you can ....

they won't even worth the retail bro'

if the material won't last , and it won't

after a month of wearing , all the film will be peeled .... even 60$ i wouldn't pay for them if i did know that before....

Nike has a warranty so if our pairs end up being defective like yours then we can send them back for product vouchers. A retail purchase is a no lose unless you don't wear them before the warranty expires.

you right

my situation is different becuse i live overseas...

and bought them from flightclub

anyway

i really want to see the pair that worn on the nba all star game . i am sure it a worst condition they my pair for sure

Exactly which is why if they don't restock I won't have them.
i really don't think they restock them

it's just my crazy theory

i won't be suprised if they know the problem and becuase of that made them so limited

i not believe this is just a defect on my pair

it's a very delicate film on all the pairs , and it's just a metter of time till it will happend to others

Prolly just got a bad pair. Seen plenty people wear em multiple times and they been good, I understand the film your talking about the brand I use to work for did a shoe with tbjs exact film and the same thing that happened to yours happened to them so we had to recall the product. It's hit or miss really, most pairs will be fine and then some will be like yours and the other kid in here.

Worn my pair for 12 hours straight last weekend...

No signs of peeling, flaking or any of the aforementioned issues...

for now , just one of the shoes got peeled , i see now that the production date on them is different a bit

but i don't know if it mean somthing

the peeled shoe with 8/13/14  - 11/17/14

and the other shoe that still good with 8/13/14 - 12/08/14

Don't mean nothing. You got a bad pair, stop overthinking it.

You wont find a paint that will replicate that actual chrome look, not any that would hold up to any flexing from wearing the shoes anyways. Only paint I know of that will look like chrome is for cars, and its very expensive.

You could try removing the layer and put on a chrome vinyl wrap.

Makes no difference where u purchased them as long as they are authentic. I've returned shoes not purchased at Nike, to Nike.

i know

but the difference is that i live overseas and nike.com sent me to nike distributor at my country

but becuase it's not official nike , (it's concession) then they don't want to help me to send it to nike.com , and say i didn't bought that from them then they can't help me ...

As much as retail was for those supposedly PREMIUM chromeposites there should be no chipping/flaking :smh:

and if it's not enogh , nike.com also said that because i bought it from flightclub

they can't be commit they authentic and this is another reason that they won't going to help me

the only thing they say they will do is to send my photos to the some department manager

but it's probably won't help me and i can't say if they really going to do that...

it's interesting if paypal can help me to get my money back at this situation

but i know that flightclub policy say there is no warrenty
