once i heard "wheat" and "timberland" posites.. i was through with that colorway.... before pictures.. out of all things.. why not bring back the black foamposite pros with the clear sole (97) and the black pro's with the volt check..instead.
Nike will be releasing all the classic/simple cws eventually.  But not after they've squeezed every opportunity to make money to the point where people will hate foams with a passion.

Once hype dies down...Nike can pull them out.  It's their golden safety net so to speak.

exactly u see they already releasing 3 solid colorways already and they putting out the knicks this year

Yeah.  I'm in no rush to hoard new foams so I'm good with a nice solid cw release here and there.

If the trend of foam pro to one cws continue, I'd be patient for either a red/black sole or blue/black sole one version.

Only cop if you plan on unpinking the shoe.. do black instead of pink and these might be a cool contender

Black would be very nice. I held them in my hands over the weekend at HoH. They are really pink! Infrared is not even close...

dont understand why nike makes Ep foams to sz 15 and timberland foams stop at sz 13

makes no sense

Those wheats looking good in the ndc pics. Ppl were complaining about suede foams but both of em look way better than a lot of the recent crap nike has put out in foams. Blacks actually sold out in a lot of spots

I'd cop those wheat foams if they scotch guard it or weather sealed them. Something, anything more NIKE...come on.

Mmmm..... I have the waterproof air forces and they are definitely not the same as the suede foam. If they did it on numerous forces in the past, why wouldn't they do the same now?

That's what I'm saying... if Nike put these wheats out as a tribute or homage to Timbs at least toss in some of the Timbs sustainability. I'm not fully sold on the nubuck/suede covering on the posite as far as durability goes. At least the wheats won't be lint and dust magnets like the black suedes... they'll just be dirt magnets if it's the same material.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has owned timbs back in it's heydays in the 90s.

I recall, they were water repellent to a degree, but not waterproof.  And they stained from the slightest water and scuffed easily.

These will probably be the same IMO.

Don't think people will wear these for construction or rugged wear though.

What can you use to fix scuffs on the foamposite material?
are we talking the actual foam? there's rumors of armor all being great for foams

I got a pair of blue Penny Zoom Rookies and the blue posite is scuffed in a few spots. I'll post pics when I get home in a few hours
