When I think of gold foams. I was thinking they would be more shiny like the gold Nike's Michael Johnson wore in '96. I wish those would retro. Passing on the gold foams.

Hmm.. I dont think those would look nice casually worn. Like how i dont think the all star "mirror" foams will look good casually worn. I'll stick to these and my pewter foams. If i want real gold looking kicks, i'll wear my liquid gold af1sWhen I think of gold foams. I was thinking they would be more shiny like the gold Nike's Michael Johnson wore in '96. Agreed. A slightly matte finish looks better casually. The mirrors are a collectable, not wearable imo

not feeling the Chinas, NYC's or Golds.them osbidians tho
i see them sitting like the Hyperposites honestly. (similar colorway)this will be my 4th posite im willing to pay retail for. did it with the Carbons, Knicks FP1 and Knicks Foam.
hoping @bigj505 or someone will look out posting a price drop after release.

the other ones im passing but i like crazy designs.. at least if im paying 275.. thse have enough going on (plus sewed in stuff instead of stamps and stuff) to make the price.. now if the chine sole glowed.. that would be crazynot feeling the Chinas, NYC's or Golds.

theyre nice looking but i dont like prints. arent they gonna be sold overseas only tho? good luck getting them close to retail.

China's are trash, they look like the garbage customs that help inspire all of those wacky prints/patterns foamposites. Nike has been catering to a silly crowd over the years for the most part, so it's to be expected.

Certain people just have the natural aura and style to pull off sporting Foamposite "Mirrors" and Michael Johnson "Coppers" that when everybody sees it they instantly want them. Like I thought the Air Jordan "Dons" were wack and then I saw this this instagram pic () and mad I passed on them.

improving or getting worse? molds were better before 2010

In the context of the conversation that was being held, the mold IMPROVED over what we got from 2010 eggplants to the last foam before the hoh black green pair.
Of course the mold pre 2010 was the best but that tragic era was so bad that the grooves were barely visible on a lot of pairs.

oh ok got you. yeah, the mold around that time was horrible. now its not nearly as bad as it was then.

Its hit or miss with the molds after coppers honestly, most after coppers the mold was either way off or slightly off, or almost on. Yeezy was decent, but most still look off to me. i see the pros dont look as off as ones tho

yep... that was all "exit stage left" for me.. but im going to see if i can reach out to someone I know in china thats there for a few months and see what he can do.. i dont know if he has a cc or anything that works over there...
