But people do it all the time

Ferrari has a very strict new owner policy.  THIS is why brand new/current run models of them always sell for over MSRP USED.  So yes, even in the car world people do pay upcharges.  310k MSRP after all the options?  You want to be higher on the list?  450k before taxes and destination sir.

You want that 2016 488GTB base that cost around 245k?  You're a new Ferrari owner?  Sorry you can't get it new sir, but you can buy it used for 350k.  BASE 488 GTB for 350k sir.
so you consider shoes the equivilent to a ferarri? shoes dont have insurnace...

Did you even read the post that I quoted?

Poster stating they would never pay 500k for a 250k dollar car, bringing them to comparison of a retail pair of shoe price to resale.  But when you're dealing in that range of vehicles PEOPLE DO, do that.  And people DO resale them for a massive upcharge for the new hot whip.

And no one is stating that a Nike is a Ferrari, it was an analogy of MSPR vs resale

Ferarri's dont resell like that unless its a limited run.. Ive seen 458's in the 180-250k range even though that model and trim MSRP'd for 3 and 400k.

Yeah it has TWO Thousand Miles on it.. but at that rate 150 miies takes away 10k .. i can deal with that math..lol

but knwo what.. I need to create a Sneaker insurance company..lol id be rich!!!.... Yeezy Package, Galaxy Package, DB Package... Nice Ring to it..

Gamer G's Shoe Insurance.. Comes With Complimentary 25 Dollar Voucher for Sole Protectors...

You do realize people would just crush their shoes then ask for new ones, right? You'd have to charge each person hundreds of dollars per shoe in order to keep up with Yeezy/Galaxy/DB Prices.

But, I mean, it sounds good. Just would never work. Insurance Fraud would run wild on you, brother.

You create strict policies that prevent fraud.. just like they do for cars and other businesses..for example.. someone could try that but i would have me Sole Team to determine what caused the damage.. if it wasnt covered under our guidelines.. Your jig is up..

But im seriously trying to find out mroe about the "Shoe Catcher"..lol

I could be rich!!!...lol

you realize that insurance companies do have strict policies against fraud and people whos sole job is to go out and inspect damages to determine liability, but they still get scammed frequently right?

Because 458s are old news.  Now that the 488GTB is out you'll see the price of them dropping.  But keep an eye out on the 488GTB, hell take a look at how much F12s are trading for.

All Ferrari's that are current trades this way, unless its unusually high mileage.

initially the prices will be high but give it a few months.. then youll see them fall.. even with the production limit of 8000

458s never dropped below their MSRP for the 1st three years, till the higher mileage ones showed up.

The 430s did the same.

The F12s are still trading for above MSRP.

The 488 GTBs that dealers/owners will call "used" will sell for over the window sticker price by owner/dealer used.

The only Ferrari's that tank in pricing that is still in production/current (past and present market) models are the 2+2 line, and the new California's.

High mileage is condiered anything over 3-5k miles you nwo that right? Those mileages are still new to me.. As if i get a car like this.. its going to be driven likea madman.. so brand new with < 1k miles the enginge isnt broken in yet nor the tires
