SMH. Cats in my local groups dont even wanna pay $475 for a sz 10 in the foams but were willing to pay $550 for a shattered backboard Jordan 1.
The Hype behind a lot of these shoe releases is crazy. Nike is also crazy for these prices. $250 for 2 shoes when one is worth $150 max. smh.

The only way your getting $475 or more for foams is if you've got oregons, dbs, or supremes.
Dudes don't even want to pay $475 for this or last years pack and they both retailed higher.

Resellers just say Jordan 1.. whats the difference.. a fragment logo.. okay.. Hype it up.. and assemble the price hike team.. it retaioled for 150.. lets sell it for 1000.. those who want it.. will buy. whats the honest difference between a jordan 1 and a air dunk minus brnding.. the foams are more durable anyways.

actually... thats the consumers that say that.... all you have to do is read the threads on here and you see how dudes in there think. people are calling 350 a steal for the shatter backboards and are hyping the value constantly.

350 is a steal for a jordan 1 pair (that came out this year).. I could see for some OG's.. thats STEAL more like a robbery..lol 350 could go to a better pair of shoes that would actually last long.. like some 2009 Eggplants still icey white (maybe).. or some HOH Black greens still icey green.. but for a pair of jordan branded air dunks.. dudes are too gullible..
After failling for the hype on the shooting stars.. i dont get into hype anymore..lol shoulda just waited.. coould gotten a pair in my size for 400..lol (both shoes)

considering those were selling for 400-600 days before and the day of release, that COULD be considered a steal because they could have easily been sold for $400-$500 if you knew the right people. (The thirsty type who have the $ and dont want to do any leg work).
I sold my SBB for $450 the day before release to a D-Boy in my area........he didnt care as long as they were guaranteed and i could deliver them. Handed me the money and didn't ask a question about how much they were going for or anything like that.
I didnt even get them with the intention of selling. I wanted to trade for an 11.5 because i won an 11. I just couldn't turn down $450, IJS. lol

Obviously Paranorman, Chromeposite, Galaxy, Tianjin, and Dr Doom foams still go for a lot. The older foams that used to go for a lot just don't command what they did before, outside of flightclub.
I've seen varsity red, royal, eggplant, pewter, copper, and stealth foams all go for less than $350 DS in the last couple months.
Foam hype is low, which is great for the people that want to cop old pairs to wear.
