bottom line foams dont go for much anymore expect a few colorways

cant believe royal foams (one of the best of not the best foamposite) can be had for less then $300.00 or between $300.00 and $350.00 new on either the 2007 or 2010 release

also anyone have a idea if 2003 released foams are wearable if deadstock ?
I have varsity red Pros which were 2002 i believe & 3 pair of FP3 from around the same time

Glue started dying on the FP3s so i got a couple spots reattached

But the Pros are good to go

I do spray them every once in a while wit silicon spray thinking itll help the nubuck or foam  from cracking

Not sure if Im on to sumn but theyre holding up VERY well on any shoe ive used it on which is quite a few.

Doubt it can hurt on top of that Does git the foam a lil glisten

Did you just undeadstock them ?

I have the red/black and the blue/black foams that I have been wearing since 2002 2003.

Just wanted to know if I should wear my DS white/blue foam pros since their releasing next year.

just dont want them to fall apart

Both pair of my Carolinas are fine. No problems when I wear them

Only thing I worry about is cracking in the carbon fiber, but no cracks still

UnDS maybe 4yrs ago

Wit no nubuck on a Carolina Pro I think the only worries could be the sole

Ive neveer had glue issues with a pro tho

Nither the pairs i kept DS, wore sparingly nor pairs ive ran into the ground

Everything always stayed put

No wonder

still have mine alsofrom back then. Look at the shape then compared to now smh. For the record i tried on the penny pack and the penny 6 fits fine i half sized up and can probably do my regular sz in the 6 but the foams are cut small thanks to that messed up toe box, the shape is way off on the foams

No one said DS.

Both of my 07s and my 2010s were worn once maybe twice when I bought them, never gave over 260 for any of them. There are a lot more places to buy sneakers than eBay.

Obviously if you bought your "Sharpie pack" you do whatever you want. I just wouldn't risk it, when in the end result is going to be a pair of royals
Other than Craiglist and sneaker xchange on Facebook lemme kno cuz i could use more spots to get shoes

cool foam topic.. whwat was the first pair of foams you bought.. how much? what made you get them? what colorway? what yaer?etc

Retro royals in 2007. Wanted em ever since Bibby first sported em in the ncaa championship but didnt have the cash baxk in 97. Got em for retail thanks to some helpful dudes in these forums who picked em up locally from ny and the dmv areas and shipped em out to me and a few other peeps who got 0 in their area. Srill my favorite foam to date

The First pair of foams i had were the OG Black with the clear bottom Foam Pro . i Paid 89.99 for them at the Rehoboth Beach Nike Outlet in 98. I missed out on the Initial launch so when i seen them there i hopped on that deal.

Metallic reds 230 off ig 2014 I got them because I seen nick young rocking them around the way.

Cough drops were my first pair of foams also, got them for $100 at the outlet.
$200 sneakers in the 90s seemed crazy so I never even looked at copping foams as something real when for less I could get a pair of Jordans.

My first pair was in 2003. November the something'th. Royals. Paid 225 shipped from japan to my dorm in college. DC friends were like youre joing until i showed him the pair. Got lots of rep from the DC dudes because of that. They wer NOT icey at all.lol

As many others said.. back in 1997 they were just out of my reach. My cousin had a pair and the many many many drug dealers who would go to the barbershop would come in with their fresh pair and as a kid I would be like.. Man those are clean. How much? they would be like 180 dollars and I would say..Thats alot for a shoe..

Fell in Love with Foams when I saw the Original royal Foamposites. Remember seeing that ad in Sports Illustrated and just staring at them My favorite color has always been royal blue so as a 13year old kid seeing this all royal blue shoe, that just looked so futuristic and clear sole looked so wet in the ad. I remember kids saying that it would melt if you played outside in them lol. Wasn't able get those cause obviously my folks weren't having it with the price tag lol. Months later in the SLAM magazine I got my first glimpse at the white Foamposite Pro's. I remember bugging my parents over those cause at this point i just had to have a pair of foams. Fast forward to December of 97' and the White Foam Pros were starting to go on sale for $99.99 across LA. My parents finally agrees to that price point and it was going to be my Christmas gift. I started calling all the Footlockers in the area looking for my size 13 ( yes i had big feet as a 13yr old kid lol) Finally I was able to find a pair at the Hawthorne Mall and we went over there and got it. It was my firs time trying them on and feeling that goodness on my feet. That's why i can always compare to these retro's now a days and can feel where they cut corners. I remember the Footlocker employee telling me that the shoe would get warm and the foam would soften up and take shape of your foot. I dogged that pair out! Still have them tho and the OG nike box.

In 01 I got the Royal Foam Pro's because that was the closest thing to the Foam One's I could get my hands on. Thought I was the man with my Mcgrady Swingman Jersey and Foam pros! lol. 02 was the Pearl retros which i was able to get and still got in great condition. Finally , had to wait to 07 to get the Royal Foam One's. Got 3 pairs of 07's but sold one last year. Have a pair of 2011 retro's as well. Just like the Jordan 3's or 4's , Royal Foam One's will be a pair that no matter how many i have I would always buy a new pair when they release :smokin

Great deal.. My favorite deal of my foam life was all black pro's for 74.99 at dtlr....

Dr dooms were my first pair...

Back in the early 00s, flightposites were my thing , never wanted foams until the dooms dropped
