I didn't like the chromeposites in person, but I actually think it would work for me in gold. still would be something not many people can pull off though, most people who think they are pulling it off don't know that they really are not :lol:

and lets not even mention a chrome bronze.. that would be the coppers to shame!!! and thats saying alot.. IM PISSED i didnt go cop coppers last year for 200 PADS condition..
 
NO matter what justification u give, NYC got hooked up...on an unpreciated level. I know most people on NIKE TALK are more seasoned than average folk on getting rare releases but I'm hearing stories of people easily getting or even turning down Chromes, or Gold foamposites because of the saturation. Like if you showed up, put in some slight effort you might get a DON C or an early release, and damn handing out the PSC Air Jordan 1s like they were an afterthought. I've never seen such heat givin out so freely. NY is a world class city in so many ways, fashion, finance, cash flow, diversity, history, sheer population, etc but dammmmnnnn you dudes got hooked up. Congratulations.

Fashion week and the Kanye release most likely played a large part in Nike going crazy with what they did. Had All-Star week been a different place instead of NYC, or not at the same time as Fashion week, the situation may have been different.

The cold weeded out some people, and many of the limited shoes were random release times. I could have been on the short end of the mirror foam stick had I woke up later to go to NTNY and in turn, missed out on a 2nd pair at Zoom CIty. Zoom City was a roll of the dice as 8/9/10am appointment times were all grouped together as they delayed opening due to the cold. Zoom City had nothing great when I went Saturday afternoon, but had 3 foam colorways on Sunday.
 
Yall don't worry about those red pros. They are gonna be a GR just like the Volt pros. Everyone should all get a good shot at a pair. As far as treating us good up here, the only the we got treated to, IMO, was the NYC foams. I mean they have NYC on the back Of them my friends. Other than that, all we got were early GRs. All those shoes will be available in quantity, we just got them early. That don c and frag restock was a shot in the dark. Nobody really ate off those. Just a select few.
 
just curious, how many heads that copped via the APP got shipping confirmation? Usually by this time I've got shipping confirmation....not this time, and the only difference is I copped via the app...

I know how FC is ... They probably told everybody $650 would be the going rate ... I'm sure a bunch of dudes wanted to place them beyond that amount. I think you did a good job and you got your pair from a reputable seller. Enjoy them. I am just waiting until spring.

We copped on a Sunday so there was obviously no processing being done yesterday, and today was President's Day (national holiday) so I'm expecting they'll be shipped out tomorrow.

mirror foams were easy to get...depending on how bad you wanted them (FCFS spots were not bad at all). The gold/red foams were random/luck. Went to snkrs everyday ...didn't have nothing for me when I got in. People who got frags, double/tripled up because early peopel went back in line. Don's were random at pearl, NTNY, and flatbush they sold leftovers the next day after people claimed raffles. NYC was the place to be this weekend in terms of shoes, you could have gotten SO MUCH if you really wanted them ez.

I  copped with the app  and i got my shipping confirmation this morning
 
Ebay seller flaked on me....told me he picked them up on release day and then canceled my order and refunded me the money 10 minutes ago.

UPS and FedEX still operated today so Presidents day shouldn't have been an issue

all makes sense, except my friend, who paid for an ATC service, got shipping confirmation this AM~ well hope I don't get shafted. Fnl oversold on me once, I don't expect this type of issue with Nike though. yeah, hopefully they will be on their way tomorrow
