Says raffles done on March 9 and 10 people will be notified on March 18. Not sure if this is just the DMV or regional or what. Just thought I'd share.

@bigj505 I like the Obsidians as well. I wished the Golds and Reds didn't release so close together also, for now Im just grabbing the Golds. Ill wait for the Reds to go on sale or hit outlets like Im waiting for the Volts

no, chrome is completely different. it is a plating process. the gold foams are not gold plated, it is just the color of gold. it will hold up just like any other solid COLOR foam.

Wanted those Obsidian pros but not for $230.
Was hoping they would sit long enough for a discount/sale but it is one of the best colorways to release on the pro since the black/laser-crimson.

I had similar thing happen to my Phoenix foams. Instead of pollen I was standing under a pine, sycamore, or some other trees with round seeds and smell like pine. Didn't think about it until the next day when I tried to clean my soles. The soles had the same yellowish color like the seeds and smelled like I stepped in Pine sol. After may attempts I couldn't get the yellow out and just dyed the sole black.

Wait a month or two after release. You'll be able to find them somehwere for retail or less. Don't try to hype them up. There's been plenty of all red shoes drop lately that haven't sold well, plus this one being $50-80 more retail
The volts will pop up in outlets in another month or two
