I like conversation while I wait
the only good campouts ive been to were a couple black friday ones down south.. dudes had projection screens and brought grills.. Now this wasnt for shoes as most sneakerheads are not trying to entertain no body..lol

News.. Because Kicksusa told me i got cart jacked, but took my money and way and after the fishing lake assist to Las vegas, I will have 2 Fishes coming my way (one going straight to the Nike outlet store for return as I dont need twin fish..

They matched the color but the hat isn't nearly as iridescent as the shoes.

(Not wearing it with that jersey, it was just the closest place in my closet to sit the shoes

)

Well... That def sucks. Would have been a win if you didn't have to pay nike for the shipping since you probably would have been cheaper with the kicksusa order.

Pretty sure I'm gonna eventually dye my soles red... they're so beautiful and I know the yellowed sole is gonna be a huge black eye on these.
Or... Option Number #2...

PS: Year Later Foams are still frozen down bottom..lol

Grizz is that your pic? Looks damn good. Looks like they're on a dock but its not over the top with corny fish themes :smokin

Its not that hard.. 15-30 mins can save you lots of money.. i do the bottoms and sides so its clean.

These are kicks im only wearing once or twice a year... too dope to get the sole yellowed..

Might have to go the sole protection route on these...

How will it save me money? (serious question) I always hear you talking about "saucing the soles" and that comes out looking really good. Is that route expensive?

Saves money as in you don't have to buy a new pair because your pair isn't icy anymore.

You pay for the maintenance as a trade off.

for those who use sole protectors do you believe they will stop your kicks from yellowing 100%?

I got DS foams with yellow soles seems like a lot of work to protect the bottom of your shoes when they gonna yellow with time.

my fighter jets got nasty pretty quick with light wear so i understand why people use sole protectors.

It will slow the process down since you aren't getting dirt on them which will settle into the clear.

Ultimately, one could sea glow them once every year or so and be "fine" considering a lot of us only wear our non beaters like once or twice a year.

Yep.. An hour of protecting will save you money in the end.

I recommend doing the sides and soles.. as you can have a clean bottom and your sides are catching the dirt and UV colorization.

My jets look good still. the only protected foams i may sauce up would be my pewters in a year or two.. as i want those looking perfect.. my protect eggplants (2010) are still on point.. all i do for those is put the tire wet on the foam wipe in and rock them on a sunny day and they bling bling..lol

Sauncing can take time depending on the condition and the method used. I dont live in a super elite sububr where i can hang 200 dollar shoes outside in teh backyard and they would remain there so I do the inside method which can be slower.. Concords took me 1 week per shoe, foams 2 weeks. It really varies and is very time consuming.. Put saunce on saran wrap place under light, come home clean off do again.. dont let the material run down on the shoes.. kills paint off of jets easily!!!!

Oh okay, yeah I wouldn't buy a new pair just because of a yellowed sole. :smh: @ myself for considering embarking on this dental dam project... we'll see. I plan on wearing em to work on Saturday though.

i have a threat where i removed and reapplied my gym greens to get a good idea of how much the protection absorbs dirt.
