Ne info I appreciate it guys.
Talk to Dr.Ice aka GamerG

There are a ton of how to videos on YouTube showing how to clean the yellow soles

I'm sure a Google search for acetone foams can give you an idea but weathermans will have imprints in the foam where the 3M radar lines are.

Safaris suffer from the same problem right? I think they'd be dope acetoned with the orange accents but then I realized you would still see some of the spots through the sole. I still want a pair to dye the sole orange though.

Not sure. I was gonna try but then the green sole issue came up.

Although I'm a Lakers fan, this is the best NBA warm-up jacket ever. Now I have royal Foamposites to wear it with since they were based in the same era.

Where the royals at :nerd:

Just playin man, nice sharpies and nice fit. Jacket is :pimp:

Thanks player!

No seriously, I certainly preferred the original royal ones from 1997, but never got them that year. And that was months before I learned how to get things under retail unfortunately. I managed to get the pearl ones later that year though.

I also wouldn't have minded having the re-release from 2007, but I didn't get those either due to limited access at boutique spots which I didn't have any hookups at. And I wasn't paying full price for those son of a.

I didn't bother with the 2011 re-release since quality and details weren't good for a higher price point.

I actually tried to big on all 3 versions ('97, '07, '11) this year on eBay, but struck out. Although I won an auction on a 2011 pair, I stiffed on it because I realized it had flaws after bidding.

Glad I struck out mostly and stiffed on a sale via eBay because I didn't have to come out of pocket for used pairs.

This is what over $500 in credit got me! A brand new pair too. I don't see Sharpies as re-release since they weren't legitimately released before. Despite being a big Penny fan, I never knew he drew on them in 1997 to conform to NBA uniform code.

Anyone hear of any more info on them Q54 Foams without the QUAI printing on em for BF come this November?

the 2011 quality is better than the sharpies

I wasn't saying Sharpies quality were better than 2011 if you read thoroughly. When I said flaws on that 2011 pair I bid on, I meant physical wear and tear, not quality as you ignorantly misconstrued.

But I would never expect a re-release to be better than a previous as we all should know by now with the way Nike operates. Let's be realistic, a basically 4th version (Sharpies) will somewhat diminish regarding quality.

I ended up getting them since I missed on the previous 3, and the Sharpies are somewhat technically a new version since it was never released despite it being a 4th incarnation of the popular royal Foamposite.

Hope that clears things up.

Anyone tried removing the "Sharpie" on them Sharpies via Acetone or nah?
That just seems to be a logical liability realistically.  I would assume removing black portions would theoretically discolor the shoes because I doubt there's royal underneath the black portions.
