the elephants are sitting in Europe, I am sure it will be the same in the states, so wait till the discount strikes!

That could be said for like 7 out of the last 10 foamposite releases. They're trying to appeal to a different audience with a high price-point item. Hypebeast kids are gonna jump on these, but they're not gonna rock them everyday, maybe once for pics or to a sneaker convention and then they sell em. Just keeps feeding the beast and gets people more accustomed to paying $250 and up for retail.

Foams back from their initial release until maybe 2007-2008 were never meant to be a once-off hype shoe. Their original release was crazy expensive but it was some technology and construction you'd never seen or felt in a Bball shoe. From a street wear standpoint they were a solid investment. A clean simple colorway that stood out while still blending in, they're fairly dirt, rain, and scuff resistant compared to other sneakers so you could have them in your weekly rotation for a long time without stressing them getting messed up. They're like your rust or black Timbs of the sneaker world. You could have 1 or two pairs of Timbs or goadomes, pair of white forces, pair of black, pair of foams and a pair of beaters and that could be your whole collection. But that doesn't keep raising their stock every quarter so now we get red spikey foams...

Maybe the pics will prove us wrong about them I was excited about an all red foam and then heard spikes smdh great idea ruined by a bad idea

Hopefully the spikes will b easy to remove if push comes to shove otherwise I'll wait and see if they drop the red suede
 
I mean, for me personally; Red Metallic Ones and Red Pros are as close to an all red sneaker as a Foamposite ever has to get, so I'm good on this one whether they're spiked or not.
