It's different levels to it to be honest. The goal is to generally spark off a conversation that could lead to something else. You are essentially buying time.
I'm not saying a dude needs to empty his pocket but that chit chat session has gotten me what I wanted in the past whether I spent nothing or a few bucks.
That "what I wanted" could b a date or it could be a plug. You never know.

He's correct on that one as well. It's been some chicks I'm not the least bit attracted to, but a little flirting gets me perks on obtaining those hard to get Jordan or Foams.

It was that price tag man. If they only sold the foams for 200-250 I'm sure it would have sold out. A lot of people don't care for the Penny VI right now.
