ORPHAN BLACK S3, premiering on 5 networks at once

Great show.  Binge watched S1, but haven't been able to catch any of S2.  Is it just as good as the first?

Tatania has such range. This season has been just as good as the first imo.
 
That Rachel and Paul sex scene was so weird. Helena cutting up that doll's hair to look like Rachel was funny though.

The trailer for the finale looks great. If Helena meets up with Sarah again, she should tell her to use the sniper rifle on her like she wanted to before.
 
2nd season has been going really good so far but I gotta say the ep with the trans clone is where things almost jumped the shark :lol: Story line felt there just for a shock on some we're not really going to introduce any new clones but hey what about Tatiana acting like a dude with a soul patch :smh: I gotta assume though they'll bring dude back just to kill him later on.

Really like the in depth focus on Helena and the revelation that her and Sarah are clones but also twin sisters. I remember not liking her much at all S1 cuz she just felt like a fake threat with a pretty annoying back story with that whole religious cult but they fleshed her out a bit more and she's a real badass to me now. Brings some lulz and seems way more threatening while empathetic.

Bringing in Duncan and making Rachel such a villain has gone well too.

Still don't know if Mrs. S can be trusted :nerd:
 
Am I the only one who would get with Mrs. S? Never really thought about her until that scene where she found her ex at a bar and he put her against the wall.

Paul hasn't been seen for a couple of episodes. I expect him to reveal or do something crazy at the finale.
 
Paul went ghost :lol: Like really dropped off. Don't even remember the last scene he was in. Think it was talking to Mrs. S and then later the thing with Tony and his friend and saying he's just like Paul.
 
Yeah, real curious to what he's up to. Dude has changed sides so many times. He might also be avoiding weird sex with Rachel again.

Probably the best sci-fi series out now, i can't get into that doctor who nonsense. Well written, has funny moments, decent amount of killing, and the lead actress is really amazing. She should be winning Emmys for this role.
 
Anyone watch the finale? Thought it was really good. Helena has bad luck. Didn't expect the military twist at the end.
 
That was really good aim. Plus she didn't know what was going to happen when she squeezed it. I thought Cosima was gone, I would've been sad as hell.
 
It was a good finale. I liked the curve with the new boss chick from another part of the company that's working to legalize genetic manipulation and privatize it being somewhat a good guy. I didn't expect for her to adopt a clone and it being a young Sarah basically. It was the same kid from the home vids Rachel would watch.

Wish Duncan didn't have to die. He had a peculiarity about him that I wished stuck around for the show.

As for the ending about the gov't (w/e gov't that is, I still have no clue what country or state this show is set in :lol: ) and the whole thing about another set of clones I like it. I figured from S1 there must be a dude version of this but I'm not so sure about their choice of guy. I'm not gonna bash him but I wonder if the actor in question has the range to pull off multiple characters like Tatiana does (even though I'm aware she was pretty much an unknown for the most part and this guy could be the same). I haven't seen much of anything from him so far. I do wonder if those religious sect knew he was a clone though.

They had me shook thinking Cosima was gonna die for a sec :smh:

The dancing when things died down was corny but funny :lol:

I'm still waiting on their reveal of the original.

:lol: It's crazy cuz when you look back on it none of that needed to happen. The main chick in charge was about to come through and shut Rachel down. Sarah almost seemed to be vindictive just to spite Rachel when she destroyed the blood and the marrow and got her back like that :lol: Talking about she got the key.

At least we see what Cosima was doing cuz I had no clue what a sharpened pencil was gonna accomplish :lol:

Oh yeah I forget to mention now it makes sense where Paul was all this time and I liked how they worked him back in. Almost seems he was deep undercover and Dyaad never had anything on him.

I just tell myself that the show is in the northwest like Seattle or Vancouver. These Candian sci-fi shows are always ambiguous with what city it's actually set in. I don't remember if it showed what the name of the police department Art and Beth worked for.

I wonder what the plan for Helena is.

There's some sexual tension between Siobhan and Paul. Clap those cheeks.

Read on the wiki page that it's shot on location in Toronto, Ontario. The showrunners said it's supposed to look like any generic location though.

Man, I slept on this show hard :smh:. Kept hearing people talk about it and I finally caved in and decide to binge watch it the last 2 days with my lady friend. Show is :pimp:. Now I can't wait for season 3

Thanks for posting. Last season I would've never guessed that guy would be the male clone. I thought it would be Paul or Felix.
