Sup NT, not new used to go by Xavier...... I got a 10k bonus from the military, and instead of blowing it I'm trying to invest in something..... I have been thinking about buying a couple of vending machines do yall think it is worth it or is there a better side hustle (feel free to suggesT)

u made an account just to ask this? good decision.

vending machines are good if u got a gucci location

Did this with my buddy while we were in college we had 3 of them, soda & snack one and don't laugh but a tampon one as well.

The soda and snack ones were located at my Aunts home health care so I didn't have to pay her any "rent" for the machines to be there. We made like $700 - $1000 per month. Got the items at Costco and refilled like every week. Sold them to my cousin after college, didn't have the time.

The tampon one was at mom and pop gas station, its still there haven't collected money from it in like 12 years. Still have the key may have my girl check one day.

Cool side gig.

Better collect that "blood money".

One of my homies has a redbox machine, it's cool but refilling the movies can get expensive, and location is EVERYTHING

I remember there was a thread on this and some NTer was dropping extreme knowledge on everything "vending machine."

From snack prices to how to maintain it

Dude everything, and I mean almost everything, or questions you need to know about vending machines are in this thread below:

Vending Machines

that looks like a good machine. whats da price?

this sounds like a good idea. will look into this some more. Maybe put it in a local sneaker store and give them a cut. Anyone try this?

So you gotta buy one? How much is one? Share some info on this, seems like a good side gig! I'm 18 so I think it would be great

I spoke to a guy at my job, who owns one about it the other day. He told me it's a difficult task to actually get started; mostly due to paperwork. He mentioned paperwork that has to be done regarding some of the brands as well.

It does look like a lot of information was covered in that thread that was linked.

You should buy a cash machine and put it near a late night spots (or daytime spots) that only takes cash. (Ie popular hotdog stands and late night food spots in busy areas)

We've got a burger drive in here in Seattle that is ALWAYS has tons of people there that only takes cash. People will gladly pay $2-3 for the convenience to get what they want. Hell its what banks do daily all over the world if you're not a member so people are totally used to it.

Dont know how much it costs or what paperwork you'd need to get but just an idea.

*update
