Blake, Metta, Meeks. And you want Sasha back? We have too many people jacking up 3's as is.

I want sasha strictly for lulz.

Sasha always looked like he was just happy to get a chance to run around on the court like a happy little boy.

Only player I can remember who had his hair nice and combed with gel in it during a game.

His wrist band always looked like he was wearing a watch during the game too.

damn i miss The Machine.....

Looks like Olynyk will take the whole nice hair thing from Sasha

Restricted means you can offer/sign a player to a contract, but his team has 7 days to match it.

TWolves signed Nic Batum, but Blazers matched it, he stays.

Bron was unrestricted when he left Clev, same as Dwight just now.
Do they choose to be restricted or unrestriced when they first sign their contracts?

The restricted stuff is I believe from rookie deals. Sort of gives teams time to eval players and decide if you will be good enough to keep, that way you don't lose your LeBron's right away, but don't lock into a Greg Oden type bust, if that makes sense.

Obviously more complicated than I make it sound, but once you get past rookie deals, no more "restricted" free agent stuff.

A Steve Blake for Brandon Rush makes sense for the Lakers and Jazz right? Assuming he's moderately healthy, Rush is a quality defender and shooter. He also expires in 2014. Blake can serve as a mentor to Trey Burke for a year.

werent we looking at him last year as well? would love to have him on the squad

Why do some laker fans want a repeat of this last season? The Lakers get into the playoffs as a low seed and get swept. They lose a chance at the lottery as well.

Bringing in Kaman is a great move cause it will be only for 1 year and he sucks. It helps with tanking AND free agency.

My dream team 2014

Lowry (4/30mil) (7.5)
Mamba (3/25 mil  but more than reasonable ) (8.3)
Max Bron/ Max Melo 4/96 mil (24)
Jason Smith (4/25 mil) (6.25)
Gortat (4/40 mil) (10)

Pau ( vet min )

A paultry and tidy 56 mil starting 5

How do you convince Mitch or the Jazz to make that call tho?

There is going to be no lottery pick for us, no matter how bad we are

The only way we have a real shot at being in the lottery is if a combo of Kobe/pau/nash miss a significant amount of time

As someone else mentioned, I hope they give Kaman #12
